Fee Breakdown

Fees
Application fees

- First (initial) registration fee: 1,890 SEK (invoice issued at the time of the place offer for the 2026–2027 intake).
- Re‑registration after a break (fee charged when a pupil who has left for more than six months seeks to re‑enrol): 1,050 SEK (amount shown in the school's financial regulations).

Tuition fees by year group (annual and per semester) — academic year 2026/2027

All amounts below are annual; the school invoices tuition in two tranches (one invoice per semester), so the per‑semester amount is the annual fee divided by two.

- CP–CM2 (elementary): Annual fee 14,550 SEK — Per semester 7,275 SEK.
- 6ème–3ème (collège / lower secondary): Annual fee 16,020 SEK — Per semester 8,010 SEK.
- 2nde–Terminale (lycée / upper secondary): Annual fee 18,210 SEK — Per semester 9,105 SEK.
- Full (non‑subsidised) tariff for pupils not eligible for municipal subsidies: Annual fee 157,590 SEK — Per semester 78,795 SEK. (This full tariff applies for pupils where the school does not receive local funding or where parents are non‑EU/EEA/Swiss nationals as specified by the school.)

- Sibling reductions: reductions are applied for large families starting at the third enrolled child (examples: 15% for the 3rd child, 20% for the 4th child, 25% for the 5th and subsequent children). These reductions are applied by order of age.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Tuition is invoiced by semester (autumn and spring). Families receive an invoice for each semester.
- Payment deadline: invoices are payable within 20 days of the invoice date. All fees must be settled by the due date shown on the invoice.
- The school may use third‑party billing providers to issue invoices. Families whose fees are to be paid by a third party (employer) must provide a completed and signed third‑party financial contract; any fees not covered by the third party remain the legal responsibility of the family. Late payments incur late fees and interest, and unpaid invoices may be referred to the Swedish debt collection agency.

Prorating, notice and refund rules

- Prorating on arrival/departure: any month started is due. For late arrival or early departure, tuition is billed pro rata on the basis of whole months; the school uses a rule equal to 1/10 of the annual tuition per month started when calculating prorata adjustments. A three‑month written notice is required for withdrawal; failure to respect the notice period may trigger billing for the following semester or an additional charge equal to 1/10 of the annual tuition for each month of notice not respected.
- Refunds: the school does not make refunds of tuition for pupil absences during a semester or for reasons outside the school's control. Where an enrolment was invoiced at the full tariff and later municipal subsidies (skolpeng) become due to the school, any subsequent reimbursement to the family may be made on a pro rata basis in line with the school's stated rules.
- First registration fees are non‑refundable in case of cancellation or withdrawal after invoicing.

Boarding / internat

- The Lycée Français Saint Louis de Stockholm does not provide boarding (no internat).

Other costs and typical additional charges

- Förskola (preschool) and the Périscolaire / Fritids service are charged according to Stockholm city ‘‘maxtaxa'' rules (a sliding scale based on family income with a maximum cap). The preschool / fritids charge is separate from the tuition amounts listed above where applicable.
- Elementary‑level provision: the school indicates that, at elementary level, the annual tuition covers the school lunch, school supplies, outings and project costs (these items are included in the elementary annual fee as stated by the school). Under Swedish regulation, the school lunch is mandatory and provided free of charge at elementary level.
- Community shop / branded items: the Parent Association runs a community shop for school‑branded items (optional purchases) and charges apply for items ordered via that service. The APE also collects a voluntary annual parent association contribution (example amount shown on the APE page is 350 SEK per child for 2025–2026).
- Exam or certification fees, specific project fees, optional extracurricular activity fees, and travel costs for educational trips may be invoiced separately when applicable; the school's financial rules note that such additional costs can be charged in addition to tuition.

Refunds / cancellation summary

- First registration fees are non‑refundable once invoiced. Tuition is not refunded for absences during a semester or for reasons beyond the school's control. Prorata adjustments for arrival or departure use a month‑based rule (1/10 of the annual tuition per month started). If municipal subsidies are subsequently allocated to the pupil after invoicing at the full tariff, a pro rata reimbursement may be made. Failure to provide the required three months' written notice when leaving can result in additional charges.

Fee payment options and practical payment notes

- The school issues invoices (it may outsource invoicing). Families must pay invoices within 20 days; the invoice will indicate the accepted payment methods and instructions. Families whose fees are to be paid by a third party must provide a signed third‑party contract. Late payments are subject to fees and collection procedures.
