Arts, Music, Physical Education, Dance, Drama, Chess and Craft are taught as part of the curriculum. An experiential learning approach enhances this curriculum, with projects, presentations and experiments used to develop creativity and applied understanding.
The CIS Student Council is an elected team representing learners across Grades 1–11. It plans student events and assemblies, leads service and charity initiatives, and gathers feedback on learning and wellbeing. It promotes a respectful, inclusive school culture. The structure includes Head Girl, Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, and Prefects, with annual elections and weekly meetings with faculty advisors.

Contofield International School is an English-medium international school in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, established in 2012. The campus hosts students from Tajikistan and more than 29 nationalities in a diverse setting. The school follows a British-adapted curriculum with a strong STEM emphasis and is officially registered as a Cambridge International School, offering Cambridge IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level courses. For Grade 12, students can obtain a Canadian High School Diploma (Ontario board) through a distance-learning program with a partner Canadian school accredited by the Ontario board. Core subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, Social/Cultural Studies, Information Technology, Arts, Music, Physical Education, Dance, Drama, and Craft, with additional focus on self-identity and cultural awareness in the middle years. The school emphasizes experiential, project-based learning and regular assessments. Extracurriculars include Chess, Drama, Dance, Arts and Music, as well as a Student Council that coordinates events and service initiatives, promoting leadership and wellbeing across Grades 1-11.
