All Braeburn Dar es Salaam students are required to wear the school uniform. Uniform is worn by all students across the school.

House System

The school uses a house system. Sixth form students remain members of the school house system and new students join one of the existing houses. Students are expected to join in the activities where appropriate and attend house meetings.

Braeburn Dar es Salaam International School is a co‑educational international day school serving students from ages 2 to 18 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Opened in 2015 as the newest Braeburn Group school, it follows a British education framework aligned with the English National Curriculum. In the Early Years, pupils follow the EYFS, with Key Stages 1 and 2 delivering a broad core programme and Key Stage 3 preparing pupils for IGCSE. The secondary programme includes Cambridge IGCSE courses and a Sixth Form pathway to university via A Levels or a BTEC Level 3. The school emphasises sport, the creative arts, outdoor pursuits and community service, supported by an Inclusion Department for personalised learning. Facilities include a music and drama suite, a specialist art room, two libraries, three science laboratories and two ICT suites, plus a 25-metre swimming pool, covered courts, a multi‑purpose hall and a lush playing field.
