PMF Tunis offers the Baccalauréat Français International Arabe (BFI Arabe) and the Baccalauréat with the International Option (OIB) in Arabic as part of its Arabic International Section. Terminale students in the OIB program present their work, including projects such as Tales OIB, and engage in cross‑border exchanges with other French international schools. The Arabic International Section integrates these programs within PMF.
Arts are offered as optional subjects, including Dramatic Arts and Visual Arts. The school hosts Arabic‑language arts performances, such as a theatre piece by the 6th SI class. The program also marks events like the PMF celebration of the World Arabic Language Day.
PMF has the Arabic Section (Section Internationale Arabe). UNESCO marks World Arabic Language Day each year, and PMF observes this with related events. The OIB program includes cross‑border activities, including Tales OIB projects with the Lycée Français d'Alger LIAD, and field studies such as activities around the poet Abu Alqasim Chabbi.
Students participate in clubs and sports through the PMF community, including clubs and an on‑campus sports association. There is a Webradio club, such as Le club radio PMF donnant la parole au proviseur, and rugby is among the available options.
The school has a Parents' Association and an Alumni Association (Association des Parents d'élèves and Association des Anciens de Mutu‑PMF). Scholarships are offered through the Bourses scolaires program (e.g., 2026‑2027).
Leadership and career development are supported through Orientation activities, including Actions Orientation, AGORA, and the Programme ADN‑AEFE.
Sports are provided by the Association sportive. A health service (Service Santé) is available, and there is on‑site dining (Restauration). The school also organizes trips and outings through Sorties et voyages scolaires.
Lycee Pierre Mendès France (PMF) is a French AEFE lycée in Tunis, offering a French curriculum with an Arabic international section. The Arabic track leads to the BFI Arabe and OIB, with electives in Dramatic Arts, Visual Arts, Latin (LCA), Italian, Spanish, and rugby. The curriculum includes Education au Développement Durable, with orientation through AGORA and Programme ADN-AEFE. PMF belongs to the Établissement Régional de Tunis (ERT) and follows the French national framework under AEFE. Opened in 1956 on a 6-hectare site, it serves 1,800 students in 50 classrooms. Facilities include more than 10 science and technology laboratories (one NSI), six computer rooms, two music rooms, two art rooms, two conference rooms, and a CDI. The campus has four sports grounds and a climbing wall. Student life includes a Webradio PMF, a Parents' Association, and an Alumni Association, plus cross-border OIB projects with Lycée Français d'Alger LIAD and Tales OIB.
