Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school has character development as part of its well‑rounded education. Extracurricular activities (ECAs) extend learning beyond the classroom to support student growth.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

The school has Learning Support offering equal opportunity for success in school. The Instructional Services Team supports learning with research-based strategies, individualized planning, and whole-person approaches.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school has an English Language Development (ELD) program designed to develop and strengthen a foundation in academic English. Students practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking in small-group classes arranged by skill level and grade level. Instruction in reading comprehension and written expression helps meet the demands of the curriculum. The ELD program supports English-language learners as they develop the skills necessary to meet academic rigor.

Mental Wellbeing

The school has the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of every student as central to staff training and daily practices. The Child Safety Team includes two counselors who provide ongoing support for students.

Safeguarding

OASIS Ankara has been part of CSPN since 2015. Safeguarding ensures student welfare through a dedicated Child Safety Team and clear reporting procedures; a Child Safety Concern Form is available to report safety concerns.
