Admissions

Admission to Odesa International School is competitive. The enrollment campaign runs in the summer and during the academic year in the form of testing in core subjects (Ukrainian language, English, and mathematics) subject to available places in the relevant class. In the 2025–2026 academic year, the school enrolls children aged 3 to 6 in kindergarten groups and children aged 6 to 17 in grades 1–11. The admission process is: familiarize yourself with the information on the site; start admissions by filling out the application form to help the school understand your needs and expectations; an invitation to testing will be sent by email and testing should be attended at the scheduled time; tests are designed for the students' age and take up to 35 minutes; after successful tests you will be invited for an interview with the administration; sign the annual contract; application intake is organized as follows: Early booking (February–May) with enrollment from September 1; Enrollment campaign (June–August) with enrollment from September 1; Additional enrollment year‑round, subject to vacancies. At signing the contract, provide: (a) a parent's application (provided with the contract); (b) a copy of the child's birth certificate (Ukraine‑issued birth certificate or notarized Ukrainian translation); (c) a copy of the passport (pages 1–2 and the residency page) and the ID number of the signing parent. After signing, provide: (a) a copy of the vaccination card (Form Ф063); (b) a medical certificate of health status and readiness for school (Form Ф086) indicating the health group; (c) for students in grades 2–10, the original personal file from the previous place of study. A certificate of readiness to enroll can be obtained at the reception after signing the contract and payment, based on the most recent place of study to issue the original personal file.

Scholarships

Odesa International School implements a social educational program aimed at supporting children of those killed defending Ukraine, children of veterans, and children who became disabled due to war, by ensuring access to quality education. The program seeks to provide these children with opportunities for learning, development, and self‑realization, and to create an educational environment that helps them unlock their potential and feel supported. What the scholarship includes: a total value of USD 15,000 per year; the scholarship covers learning at Odesa International School under the Ukrainian educational program; a full school day and clubs from 7:00 to 19:00 (12 hours per day); five meals; participation in clubs and extracurricular activities; educational and psychological support for the student; field trips; participation in school events, projects, and educational development programs. Who can participate: children of fallen Ukrainian defenders aged from 1st to 11th grade. Selection is conducted in cooperation with state agencies and military structures and organizations such as the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Education and Science, and other organizations that work with families of fallen heroes. Because places are limited, candidates undergo academic testing at Odesa International School to determine the student's level; based on test results a student receives the scholarship. Duration: the scholarship is awarded for one academic year with the possibility of extension if program requirements are met. Academic requirements: the student must demonstrate appropriate academic achievement and comply with school standards. Rules and behavior: adherence to internal school rules, discipline, and respectful behavior is mandatory. Organizational conditions: in case of repeated violations the school reserves the right to terminate participation. Program development: the school actively develops the program and invites partners, including philanthropists and donors, corporate partners, funds and organizations. Transparency: partners are guaranteed an official memorandum of cooperation, regular reports on the use of funds, information about student successes, opportunities to meet scholarship recipients, and public disclosure of the partnership.
