Avenues New York is an independent toddler–12th grade school located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Since opening in 2012, it has grown to more than 1,900 students. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Language immersion is offered for ages from 12 months through 5th grade in Mandarin or Spanish, building fluency in a world language. The World Elements framework guides the curriculum, blending rigorous academics with real-world experiences, and graduates pursue higher education at universities worldwide, including Harvard, New York University, the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, and the University of Chicago.
The Avenues New York community hosts virtual and in-person events for families, including virtual Parent Introductory Events for all grades and Spring Tours for the Upper Division. The school follows the World Elements framework, blending rigorous academics with real-world experiences and a broad outlook. The Early Learning Center (toddler through kindergarten) is housed in a modern facility designed for two-language immersion and learning through play.
