Art and music are integrated into daily learning. After-school enrichment includes Art and other creative activities. Project-based learning connects artistic expression with core subjects through design and exploration.
French and Spanish immersion programs are offered. Preschool tracks include French & English or Spanish & English; in 5K/Kindergarten, students study all three languages concurrently; by 5th grade, students achieve near-fluency in English, French, and Spanish.
After-school enrichment runs daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for elementary students. Preschool students have aftercare from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Enrichment activities include Gymnastics, Art, Cooking, Soccer, and Chess. These programs support social interaction, teamwork, and personal interests.
The school builds 21st-century skills, including problem-solving, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity, information literacy, and ethical reasoning. Da Vinci International School (DVIS) is a non-denominational, international private preschool and elementary program for children from 18 months through 5th grade. It offers French and Spanish immersion with a trilingual pathway in English, French, and Spanish. In preschool, students follow French-English or Spanish-English tracks; by 5K, all three languages are taught concurrently, with near-fluency expected by 5th grade. The curriculum emphasizes numeracy, literacy, S.T.E.M., design, and art through project-based learning, with literacy guided by Orton-Gillingham principles. The program aligns with French Ministry of Education standards and is part of the AEFE network, enabling transfer within the global system. Located in North Buckhead at 4100 Roswell Rd NE opposite the Blue Heron Nature Preserve, the campus offers weekly Forest School and operates 7:40 a.m.–6:00 p.m., August–late May, with Summer Camp available. Governance is via a Board of Advisors, and DVIS integrates Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches with Singapore Math to support inquiry and hands-on learning.
