The school is located in the North Buckhead area of Atlanta at 4100 Roswell Rd NE. The DVIS campus sits across the street from the Blue Heron Nature Preserve and includes a community garden. Weekly Forest School sessions take place at the Blue Heron Nature Preserve next to the campus, bringing nature into the classroom. School hours are from 7:40 AM to 6:00 PM, with a school year from early August to late May and Summer Camp programs offered. Small class sizes and a 5:1 student–teacher ratio support personalized attention.
The school provides a trilingual integrated pathway in French, English, and Spanish, accredited by the French Ministry of Education (AEFE). The program aligns with U.S. Common Core, with native-level Spanish and French academic rigor. The Da Vinci student will progress in literacy, science, math, art, and music at milestones set by the French Ministry of Education. Orton-Gillingham for structured literacy, Singapore Math for deep conceptual understanding, and Reggio Emilia & Montessori approaches are part of the teaching methods. Project Zero Visible Thinking supports reflection, metacognition, and deeper thinking.
Aftercare is available for preschoolers aged 18 months to 5 years, and enrichment activities for elementary students aged 5+ every day of the week. Enrichment activities include Gymnastics, Art, Cooking, Soccer and Chess. Forest School occurs weekly at the Blue Heron Nature Preserve, adjacent to the campus. Summer Camp programs are available in addition to the regular school year.
Da Vinci International School (DVIS) is a non-denominational, international private preschool and elementary program for children from 18 months through 5th grade. It offers French and Spanish immersion with a trilingual pathway in English, French, and Spanish. In preschool, students follow French-English or Spanish-English tracks; by 5K, all three languages are taught concurrently, with near-fluency expected by 5th grade. The curriculum emphasizes numeracy, literacy, S.T.E.M., design, and art through project-based learning, with literacy guided by Orton-Gillingham principles. The program aligns with French Ministry of Education standards and is part of the AEFE network, enabling transfer within the global system.
