Da Vinci International School (DVIS) is a non-denominational, international preschool and elementary school offering French and Spanish immersion for children aged 18 months through 5th Grade. DVIS is a bilingual preschool and a trilingual elementary school located on the Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Buckhead, Atlanta. The school is named after Leonardo da Vinci and embraces his spirit of inquiry and creativity. English instruction begins in 4K at 25% and increases to 45% by 5K and beyond, with a third language introduced in 3rd grade as part of the language program. DVIS notes governance through a Board of Advisors, reflecting its collaborative community structure.
DVIS builds a caring, engaged school community with after-school enrichment programs in French, Spanish, and English, as well as an immersion aftercare program from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The school also hosts cultural and community events, such as Native American Festival and Pow Wow (October 30, 2025).
