Deerfield Academy is a co-educational boarding and day school in Deerfield, Massachusetts, founded in 1797. It enrols 650 students (575 boarding, 75 day) from 32 US states and 44 countries on a 330-acre campus. With an average class size of 12 and 141 faculty (91% living on campus, 62% coaching at least one sport), Deerfield provides a deeply immersive educational experience. The acceptance rate is 15% from 2,145 applicants. 40% of students receive financial aid totalling over USD 16 million. The curriculum includes arts (architecture, dance, film, music, photography, studio art, theatre), English, History and Social Science, Languages (Chinese, Spanish, French, Latin), Math, Philosophy and Religion, and Science and Computer Science.
