Flushing International High School is in Flushing, New York, serving grades 9–12. By public transportation: take the 7 train to Main Street, then the Q12 or Q15/15A to 147 Street. You can also ride the Q25, Q17, Q65, Q66, Q19, or Q50 to Main Street and Roosevelt, then the Q12/Q15/Q15A to 147th Street. The LIRR to Murray Hill Station is within walking distance.

The Internship Institute provides students with the opportunity to explore a particular career interest, develop important workplace competencies, apply new skills they have learned, and develop their English skills (and in some cases their native language skills).
FIHS graduates are accepted to a wide range of CUNY, SUNY and private colleges. Examples include Adelphi University, Canisius College, Brooklyn College, Lehman College, Bard College, Parsons School of Design, Baruch College, Queens College, Stony Brook University, Hofstra University, Ithaca College, LIU, NYIT, and St. John's University.
1. Eligibility and admission criteria. Recent arrival to the United States: four years or less. English Language Learner status. Home language of instruction was not English.
