- Toddler / Preschool / Kindergarten options (ages 2–5):
- 3 mornings (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, mornings only): USD 12,490 (monthly installment shown as USD 1,249).
- 5 mornings (M–F mornings only): USD 19,840 (monthly installment shown as USD 1,984).
- 3 full days (Mon/Wed/Fri full days): USD 19,840 (monthly installment shown as USD 1,984).
- 5 full days (required for Kindergarten; full-day schedule): USD 27,910 (monthly installment shown as USD 2,791).
- Elementary School (Grades 1–5, full-time): USD 27,910 per year (monthly installment shown as USD 2,791). Students attend full days Monday–Friday.
- Middle School Continuing French (Grades 6–8, part‑time continuing studies program): USD 5,300 payable in 4 installments (program meets Saturdays and weekday evenings; installment schedule listed as TBC).
What tuition includes
- Tuition covers textbooks, supplies, insurance, field trips, and snacks for preschool students.
Payment schedule and billing terms
- Standard tuition billing: payable in 10 installments — an enrollment deposit in the spring followed by nine monthly payments beginning July 1. Payment-plan administration is handled through the FACTS Tuition Management system.
- FACTS supports multiple payment methods including automatic bank draft (ACH) and credit/debit card; credit card payments are commonly subject to a convenience/processing fee through FACTS.
New-family fee and sibling discounts
- New-family fee (one-time for families not previously enrolled): can be paid as USD 1,700 in installments or as a USD 1,500 one-time payment; invoiced on receipt of the enrollment agreement.
- Sibling discounts (applied to tuition): up to USD 1,250 for a sibling enrolled in a 5 full days program; USD 600 sibling discount for 5 mornings or 3 full days. Discounts do not apply to 3 mornings programs or the Middle School Continuing French program.
Extended care, enrichment and other incidental fees
- Before- and after-school care (Garderie) is available; families must pre-register through FACTS. Garderie is billed at published weekly rates and invoices for Garderie are issued monthly via FACTS with payment due on the 1st of the following month. Drop-in care is available at USD 50 per day (subject to space). Cancellation of Garderie requires 30 days' written notice; mid-month cancellations and prorated refunds are not available.
- Enrichment classes and mini-camps have additional charges; families enrolled in overlapping Garderie receive a credit for overlapping hours as specified by the school. Mini-camps and summer camp fees are charged separately and are not eligible for tuition assistance.
Summer camp fees and refund terms
- Summer Camp: registration is by week; payment is due in full at registration. Each weekly session requires a non-refundable deposit of USD 55. Full camp tuition for a week becomes non-refundable after May 1 for the listed summer season.
Spirit wear / uniform items
- Spirit wear and branded school apparel are offered through the school's spirit-wear store. Any costs for optional spirit wear or apparel purchases are billed separately.
Boarding
- Boarding is not applicable. The school is a day program serving Toddler through Grade 5 (with a Continuing French part‑time program for older grades).
Refund information (applicable policies)
- Garderie: cancellations require 30 days' notice and mid-month cancellations or prorated refunds are not available.
- Summer camp: USD 55 deposit per weekly session is non-refundable; full tuition for a registered week is non-refundable after May 1 for the summer session.
Fee payment options
- Primary billing and payment administration are processed through the FACTS Tuition Management system. FACTS supports payment by automatic bank draft (ACH/electronic check) and by credit/debit card; credit/debit card payments are typically subject to a processing/convenience fee charged by the payment processor. All other program-specific charges (Garderie, enrichment, camps, spirit wear, etc.) are billed through FACTS or via the school's designated payment forms.

The French Immersion School of Washington serves students from age two through fifth grade, with an additional part-time program for middle schoolers. The curriculum follows the standards of the French Ministry of National Education, ensuring students achieve a 100% success rate on the Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) certifications. Starting in September 2026, the school expands its offerings to include a dedicated Toddler Program for two-year-olds. A unique feature is the Middle School Continuing French initiative, which allows graduates to maintain their language skills through Saturday in-person sessions and weekday evening online classes. The campus is recognized as a "Green School," emphasizing environmental stewardship. Facilities support various enrichment activities such as chess, ballet, and cooking. This pluricultural community provides a bilingual environment where children learn to communicate effectively in both French and English while developing independence and global awareness through inquiry-based instruction.
