The French Immersion School of Washington serves students from age two through fifth grade, with an additional part-time program for middle schoolers. The curriculum follows the standards of the French Ministry of National Education, ensuring students achieve a 100% success rate on the Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) certifications. Starting in September 2026, the school expands its offerings to include a dedicated Toddler Program for two-year-olds. A unique feature is the Middle School Continuing French initiative, which allows graduates to maintain their language skills through Saturday in-person sessions and weekday evening online classes. The campus is recognized as a "Green School," emphasizing environmental stewardship. Facilities support various enrichment activities such as chess, ballet, and cooking. This pluricultural community provides a bilingual environment where children learn to communicate effectively in both French and English while developing independence and global awareness through inquiry-based instruction.
