Hackley provides social and emotional learning across Lower, Middle, and Upper School. In the Middle and Upper Schools, licensed mental health clinicians work with teachers, advisors, deans, parents and outside professionals to support students' social-emotional health. They offer individual and small-group counseling and share strategies and resources to promote positive mental health and academic success. The team designs social-emotional programming for advisory groups and community time. In the Lower School, social-emotional development is integrated into the program to help students grow as engaged learners and caring individuals.
Hackley's Support Services department comprises specialists attuned to the developmental needs of students to ensure they grow socially, emotionally, and academically. The Middle and Upper Schools share a full-time learning specialist who helps with executive functioning, time management, organization, and study skills. The Lower School has a full-time literacy specialist and math specialist. Support Services oversees accommodations for students with documented disabilities in accordance with applicable law. The team provides individualized support across divisions to help students navigate coursework and develop self-advocacy.

Hackley School is a private, coeducational K–12 program with five-day boarding for grades 9–12, located on a 285-acre campus in Tarrytown, New York. The school offers an AP curriculum and a cohesive K–12 experience that ties Lower, Middle and Upper School learning while emphasizing student ownership of education. Lower School centers on collaboration and character through literacy, math, science, Spanish, technology and the library. Middle School adds core English, history, math and science, world languages (Spanish, French, Chinese or Latin), plus enrichment in computer science, health, study skills, arts and athletics. Upper School provides a course catalog featuring independent research, capstone internships, experiences, world languages, and a dedicated College Counseling pathway. A key feature is the Allen Center for the Creative Arts and Technology, opened in 2024, alongside a Science Building and wellness facilities. Signature programs include Independent Research, Global Education and Round Square, with boarding available for qualifying students.
