Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles offers a bilingual, dual-language curriculum with English-language and French-language sections. The English-Language Section provides a college-prep pathway in English and aims for bilingual proficiency in French and English by graduation. The French-language track leads toward the French Baccalaureate, with electives and language offerings that include ancient languages, Greek and other modern languages such as Spanish or German. New students can enter any grade and pursue a college-prep curriculum in English or French across the school's continuum from preschool through high school.
Arts are integrated across the school: Music, Choir and Bands are offered in all grades, with a Choir for grades 4–8 and Rock bands in middle and high school, plus piano lessons as an extracurricular. Drama is scheduled during the school day with higher-level performing-arts courses in high school, and performances take place at Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz. Dance offers styles such as Ballet, Contemporary and Hip-Hop, culminating in an annual recital. Visual arts span from preschool through AP Studio Art in high school, with field trips to Los Angeles museums and a strong emphasis on creative expression.
The school provides a bilingual and bicultural education with English-Language and French-Language sections. Students study additional languages in both sections, including Spanish, German, Latin and ancient Greek. Visual and performing arts opportunities are complemented by classrooms and cultural programs that emphasize global awareness and cross-cultural exploration.
