Located in New Orleans, Lycée Français International de la Louisiane is a free public charter school serving PreK-12 with two campuses: the Primary Campus at 721 St. Philip Street and the Secondary Campus at 1601 Leonidas Street. LFNO provides daily, free transportation by LFNO-approved vehicles. Yellow bus service is provided for Kindergarten through 5th grade students who reside in Orleans Parish and live more than 1 mile from campus. 6th–12th grade students may request monthly RTA passes if they reside more than 1 mile from campus and in Orleans Parish; LFNO covers the cost. Transportation operates on a minimum four-day per week schedule.

Lycée Français International de la Louisiane aligns to both the American and French education systems, supporting students in earning their American diploma and their French Baccalaureate. The school is a PreK-12 institution focusing on Primary through Secondary education. Within École Primaire and École Secondaire, there are four cycles: Cycle 1 (Apprentissages Premiers), Cycle 2 (Apprentissages Fondamentaux), Cycle 3 (Consolidation), and Cycle 4 (Approfondissement). Cycle 1 covers Petite Section (Pre-K3), Moyenne Section (Pre-K4), and Grande Section (Kindergarten). Cycle 2 covers Cours Préparatoire, Cours Élémentaire 1, and Cours Élémentaire 2; Cycle 3 covers CM1, CM2, and Sixième (6e); Cycle 4 covers Cinquième (5e), Quatrième (4e), and Troisième (3e); Lycée includes Seconde, Première, and Terminale.
The program supports achieving both the American diploma and the French Baccalaureate, enabling progression to higher education in both the United States and France. The French Baccalaureate qualifies graduates to continue their studies in higher education.
Enrollment is conducted through the NOLA Public Schools Common Enrollment Process (NCAP). Lyce9e Frane7ais International de la Louisiane serves all of Louisiana, and families outside Orleans Parish may apply. The Main Round Application runs November 3, 2025 to January 23, 2026, with open enrollment through NCAP. Language requirements are: PreK4 and Kindergarten do not require prior French language knowledge; applicants for Grades 1-12 must pass a French language proficiency exam to be eligible for admission.
