Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Located at 8900 Stirling Road, Cooper City, Florida, Lycée Franco-Américain International School is a non-profit bilingual institution offering a bilingual French–American education from preschool through high school. Preschool follows Cycle 1 of the French curriculum, focusing on language development and exploration. Elementary education uses the Official French Elementary School Program with Cycle 2 and Cycle 3. Middle School is Le Collège (four years) and High School Le Lycée (three years), with Brevet des Collèges after year 9 and the Baccalauréat on graduation. The curriculum blends the French system with Florida standards. The school is affiliated with France through the Ministry of Education and AEFE, and has AISF accreditation for Preschool and Elementary levels. Founded in 1997 by Dr. Jacqueline Hoy, it expanded to include middle school grades 6–8 between 2019 and 2021; Antonio Rodrigues became owner and head of school in 2018. Extracurriculars include basketball, soccer, tennis, dance, and a French Club.
