How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Step 1: Apply. To apply, click the Apply Now button and follow the steps. Step 2: Continue Application. If you have started, return to the Admission Portal to finish. Step 3: Decision Process. An Admission Committee, comprising faculty from all grade levels, division heads and admission staff, reviews all applications. Decisions are emailed from the Director of Admission. Admission Checklist includes Student Information, Family Information, Application Fee, and Admission Documents submitted electronically; parents request recommendations and transcripts, and the recommender's name and email are required. Required documents include School Evaluation, English Teacher Recommendation, Math Teacher Recommendation, and Transcript Release Form. Interviews: middle school applicants have an on-campus interview/shadow day; upper school applicants are invited for an on-campus interview after the application is complete. Admission Exam: for grades 6–10 Palmer Trinity uses a test-flexible approach (ISEE or SSAT); for grade 11, PSAT, ACT or SAT is accepted; non-English curriculum applicants must take the Duolingo English Test with a minimum score, and all documents must be translated into English. Early Decision is binding, with applications due before November 7 and decisions by December 5; ED students sign an enrollment contract and submit a $3,000 non-refundable deposit prior to December 15; Financial Aid applicants must complete a Clarity financial aid application by November 1. Palmer Trinity does not accept government-sponsored scholarships. Regular Admission applications are due January 15, with decisions by March 1 and contracts due March 9. Financial Aid Deadlines align with these dates and require tax documentation. For questions about the process, email the Admissions Office.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

No scholarships are offered. Financial aid is need-based and administered through Clarity; Palmer Trinity School awards over $6 million in need-based aid with an average grant around $24,000.

Palmer Trinity School is an Episcopal, independent, coeducational day school in Palmetto Bay, Florida, serving grades 6–12. The Upper School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (two years for grades 11–12) alongside AP courses, with 23.5 credits required for graduation. Diploma courses include English Language and Literature HL; Language B HL/SL; Language Ab initio French SL; History SL/HL; Global Politics SL/HL; Business Management HL; Biology HL; Chemistry SL; Sports, Exercise and Health Science HL/SL; Environmental Systems and Societies SL; and Mathematics SL. The Diploma Programme aims to develop 21st-century skills and a global perspective. The campus spans almost 60 acres, with indoor facilities such as classrooms, a Dance Studio, Fitness Center, Gymnasium, Library, and dining spaces; outdoor fields for baseball, soccer, softball, and tennis; and three Innovation Spaces to support creativity. Students come from 37 countries, with more than half bilingual, and numerous Service Living, Global Studies, and Environmental Studies offerings.
