Phillips Academy is in Andover, Massachusetts, about 25 miles north of Boston. The campus is at 180 Main Street in a New England town with excellent transport links. Boston Logan International Airport is approximately 30 minutes away.
The school serves grades 9 through 12, using the terms Junior (9th), Lower (10th), Upper (11th), and Senior (12th). Most students enter in 9th or 10th grade.
Phillips Academy is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school. Approximately 75% of students board and 25% attend as day students.
