- A finance fee of USD 50 is charged per payment on the 4‑Pay and 10‑Pay plans. Split accounts incur a USD 50 charge.
Additional, variable, or billed-separately costs
- After‑school enrichment programs, extended‑day charges, overnight class trips, individual IB testing, and other optional activities are billed separately to student accounts.
- PE uniforms and other school uniform pieces are listed as included components of certain fees or registration packages for boarding; parents should expect separate uniform purchases or uniform-package charges as noted in the registration/boarding description (boarding registration explicitly includes two uniforms in the USD 4,000 registration package).

Billing schedule, payment terms and deposits
- Enrollment deposit: USD 5,000 is due with the signed Enrollment Agreement and is credited toward tuition for both international day and boarding students.
- For boarding and international students the remaining tuition balance is required within 30 days of enrollment (deposit credited toward tuition). For day students the standard payment-plan due dates apply (see payment schedule above).
- Experience Fees are one‑time charges collected at time of enrollment and cover items such as field trips, special programs, yearbooks, certain supplies, digital resources, athletics/PE uniform needs, and similar items by division.
Refund information (applicable items)
- The USD 5,000 enrollment deposit is credited toward tuition; if a student's U.S. visa is denied the USD 5,000 deposit will be refunded less a discretionary USD 400 administrative fee and less a USD 100 application fee. This refund condition is specified for international/boarding deposit situations.
- Experience Fees and certain registration fees are assessed at enrollment (Experience Fees are one‑time at enrollment). Specific refundability of Experience Fees or registration fees in other withdrawal circumstances is governed by the school's enrollment and withdrawal policies and the signed Enrollment Agreement (deposit and specific refund conditions are called out for visa denial scenarios).
Fee payment options and payment processing
- Accepted payment channels include credit card and bank account payments through the school's tuition management processor and paper check payments made payable to Rancho Solano (checks remain an accepted option though least preferred for processing). Credit card and bank-account payments are processed with the following processing fees charged by the tuition manager:
- Credit card processing fee: 3.12% of the transaction.
- Bank account (ACH) processing fee: 1% of the transaction.
- Paper checks avoid processing fees but are least preferred by the school's processor.
- A USD 50 finance fee applies per payment for families using the 4‑Pay or 10‑Pay options. A USD 50 charge applies to split accounts.

Rancho Solano Preparatory School is a PK–12 private day school in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a Lower Campus for PreK–5 and Upper Campus for 6–12.
