Academic and Intellectual

The school offers a trilingual education in German, English, and Spanish. German is taught from early years, and English is added in third grade. In secondary, students can choose between the DIA track (Deutsches Internationales Abitur) leading to the Abitur, and the Plan Nacional track leading to the Uruguayan bachillerato; both tracks are recognized for university entrance. The program includes internationally recognized language certificates in English (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE), with the school often covering exam costs. There is an intercultural exchange program with German partner schools featuring a three-stage structure: preparation and meetings during the year, a travel period to Germany in January–March, and reciprocal hosting of German students in Uruguay.

Arts and Creative

Talleres artísticos offers artistic workshops; sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in November from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Kinder Theatre, with contact Rafael Pence. Education Artística is a mandatory part of the Plan Nacional curriculum, integrating arts into the broader educational program. The school supports creative expression and performances as part of its cultural life.

Cultural and Language

Sprachklub Internacional provides a platform for high school students to engage in international German-language discussions; it was created in 2023 by Stiftung Verbundenheit in collaboration with GLSC, and the 2025 edition included an online discussion on Diplomacy and Language with Knut Abraham. Participation is reserved for selected students. Intercambio offers a three-stage program with preparation, a January–March trip to Germany, and reciprocal hosting of German students in Uruguay. The Parliament organizes events like Día sin Uniforme and the Festival de la Biculturalidad.

It also runs social projects such as TECHO Uruguay, Hogar Amanecer, Teletón, Fundación Peluffo Giguens, Karumbé and Centro Educativo Providencia. These relationships and projects expand opportunities and support for the broader community. The Parliament meets regularly to listen to student concerns and to develop solutions, and it represents student interests by organizing projects and events such as Día sin Uniforme and the Festival de la Biculturalidad. Participation fosters responsibility, leadership, and an understanding of democratic processes.
