Colégio Alemán de Montevideo operates on two campuses, Pocitos and Carrasco, serving children from 0 to 18 in a German international school. It offers a trilingual education in German, English, and Spanish, with German from early years and English introduced in the third year of Primary within a bicultural Uruguayan-German setting. From 7th grade students choose between the DIA Deutsches Internationales Abitur and the Plan Nacional track, both recognized for university entrance. The school awards official language certificates (DSD I/II and Abitur) as part of the DIA and Plan Nacional. Primary uses IVA assessments and Seiteneinsteiger integration courses welcome students with no prior German. Facilities include libraries in three languages, modern laboratories, computer rooms, workshop spaces, art and music rooms, and theaters. Carrasco offers a gym and outdoor fields; Pocitos has three gymnasia and a theater hall with Humboldtsaal for performances. An intercultural exchange and partnerships with institutions enrich learning.
