1. Initial Inquiry & Campus Visit: Contact our Admissions Office to schedule a meeting or tour. Families visit the campus, meet CST staff, and experience the CST culture firsthand. Admissions staff provide information about programs, facilities, and student life, and answer questions about the application timeline. This visit helps families assess fit and plan next steps. 2. Application Submission: Complete the application form and submit the required documents, including academic records, passport/ID, and health information. Applicants may also need to provide additional documents as requested. All documents should be in English or translated where required. Incomplete submissions may delay processing. 3. Assessment & Interview: Students undergo an age-appropriate academic assessment (literacy, numeracy, or English proficiency) and may be invited for a brief interview. Assessments may be conducted on-site or online as appropriate. Interviews provide an opportunity for CST to understand the child's strengths and learning profile. This step helps CST place students accurately and tailor support where needed. 4. Offer & Enrollment: Successful applicants receive an offer letter. Upon confirmation, families finalize enrollment and receive orientation details to begin their CST journey. Offers are contingent on meeting program prerequisites and health information. Orientation covers schedules, uniforms, start dates, and important CST policies, and Grade 10–12 applicants must demonstrate a B1 level of English (CEFR) to ensure readiness for an English-medium environment.
The school provides limited scholarships and financial aid packages to outstanding or deserving students. Scholarships may cover full or partial tuition fees and are renewable annually, subject to academic performance and conduct. Awards are based on academic excellence and standardized test results, special talents in arts, sports, or leadership, financial need evaluated confidentially by the CST Executive Committee, and community involvement or unique contributions to the CST culture. To apply for financial aid or scholarships, families must submit a separate application form along with supporting documentation.
Canadian School of Tashkent is the first Canadian school in Tashkent, licensed by Nova Scotia to deliver the Nova Scotia curriculum for grades 10–12. The Nova Scotia Public School Program structures grades 10–12 with credit-bearing courses. Core subjects—English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies—are taught by homeroom teachers; French, Music, Physical Education, Art, and Technology are delivered by specialists. Graduates earn the Nova Scotia High School Diploma, enabling direct admission to universities in Canada and worldwide, including UK, US, Europe, and Asia. The campus is modern and student-centered, with bright classrooms, labs, learning commons, studios, and makerspaces. There are green outdoor spaces, a cafeteria, a First Aid Clinic, and campus security on site. Sports facilities support indoor and outdoor activities. The school emphasizes travel abroad programs, international competitions, and university and career guidance from Grade 9, preparing students for university pathways.
