The Nova Scotia curriculum for grades 10–12 is delivered under CST's Nova Scotia license. The program emphasizes critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, collaboration, and real-world relevance through a modern framework. CST provides university and career guidance starting in Grade 9 to help students build portfolios and prepare for global university admissions. Students gain real-world exposure through international competitions and travel experiences.
Labs, Makerspace, and Media/Art/Music Rooms support creative work across the curriculum. Specialist instructors lead instruction in French, Music, Art, and Technology as part of the Nova Scotia program. Electives include media studies and other creative subjects that foster artistic and digital expression.
CST offers international exposure through activities such as Model United Nations and other global competitions. The school provides English language support to assist students. CST runs a Cultural Exchange Initiative connecting CST students with leading schools, competitions, and student groups in Uzbekistan and abroad. French is taught as a subject by specialist instructors.
After-school clubs and enrichment programs allow students to follow their interests and passions. Our clubs and co-curricular activities include arts, science, robotics, public speaking, poetry, music, sports, and languages such as French and Arabic. Canadian School of Tashkent is the first Canadian school in Tashkent, licensed by Nova Scotia to deliver the Nova Scotia curriculum for grades 10–12. The Nova Scotia Public School Program structures grades 10–12 with credit-bearing courses. Core subjects—English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies—are taught by homeroom teachers; French, Music, Physical Education, Art, and Technology are delivered by specialists. Graduates earn the Nova Scotia High School Diploma, enabling direct admission to universities in Canada and worldwide, including UK, US, Europe, and Asia. The campus is modern and student-centered, with bright classrooms, labs, learning commons, studios, and makerspaces.
