Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school views all students as individuals with different interests, hobbies and abilities. It creates an environment where students can feel free and become active participants in their community. The school has high expectations for all students, motivating and supporting them to achieve the highest level and fully realize their potential. The professional team of teachers and staff, people-oriented, is deeply committed to engaging students in the learning process through advanced methodologies and creating a positive and holistic learning environment. Responsibility, one of our core values, teaches students to take responsibility for their education and future through value-based learning practices.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Speech therapists are available to assist students. Psychologists are available to assist students. The school provides in-house support staff that includes a psychologist and a speech therapist to aid student learning.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

ESL teachers are available to support students with English language needs. An English language teacher is part of the international teaching team. English language instruction is provided as part of the international education offering.

Mental Wellbeing

A nurse, a psychologist, and a speech therapist are available to assist the students at all times during their school journey. This team supports students' mental wellbeing and overall health as part of the school's care system. Students have ongoing access to these health and wellbeing services throughout their time at CIS Tashkent.

Safeguarding

24/7 Security: The safety of children is the main priority. The school is fitted with high-end security equipment and regular safety drills are conducted.

Located in Tashkent, CIS International School offers an education for ages 2–18. The curriculum blends Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS and A Levels with a Russian curriculum at appropriate stages. The Early Years Foundation Stage (ages 3–5) forms a secure start; Primary (ages 5–11) combines International Primary with Russian studies; Secondary (ages 11–16) follows International Secondary alongside Russian studies; 16–18 students pursue IGCSE and A-Level routes with Russian elements. The programme is delivered by teachers from the UK, Australia, Canada, the USA and South Africa. The campus features science labs, art and crafts rooms, an ICT suite, and a Dance Hall; an in-house canteen serves healthy meals four times daily. Classrooms have ergonomic furniture and multi-touch boards; the library houses over 3,000 titles. A nurse, psychologist and speech therapist support wellbeing; security is 24/7 with regular drills. Extra-curriculars span music, sports, robotics, debates and language clubs, reflecting a broad ethos.
