Facilities Overview

The British School of Tashkent has two campuses, Sayram and Kalandar, in the Mirzo Ulugbek district. The campuses combine creative spaces and specialist classrooms with sports facilities and the latest technology. The ultra-modern STEAM Centre supports MIT collaboration and includes 3D printers, laser cutters, and robotics equipment. The libraries are well stocked, and there are three large sports halls, football pitches, basketball courts, and a 25-metre swimming pool. There are two theatres on campus and access to the Global Campus learning platform.

Academic Facilities

Sayram and Kalandar campuses feature specialist classrooms and creative spaces equipped with up-to-date technology. The ultra-modern STEAM Centre, with MIT collaboration, enables advanced work in science, technology, engineering, art, and maths, using 3D printers, laser cutters, and robotics equipment. Well-stocked libraries provide extensive academic and reading resources. Two theatres support performing arts, while the curriculum includes the English National Curriculum with IGCSEs and A-levels.

Extra-Curricular Activities

BST runs more than 40 extra-curricular clubs across sport, music, arts, languages, and science. The school collaborates with The Juilliard School, MIT, UNICEF, and participates in The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. Life-changing excursions and international expeditions include destinations in Uzbekistan such as the Andijan Mountains and Charvak Lake. The Global Campus learning platform connects BST students with peers from Nord Anglia schools worldwide.

The British School of Tashkent is a British international school for ages 1 to 18, delivering the English National Curriculum with IGCSEs and A-levels. Established in 2010, BST serves a diverse community of 650 students from more than 40 nationalities, across two campuses in Mirzo Ulugbek: Sayram (EYFS–Year 2) and Kalandar (Year 3–13). It offers a dual British and Uzbek curriculum, enabling study of both the Uzbek аттестат and IGCSEs. BST is the first private school in Uzbekistan to be a FOBISIA member and to hold COBIS accreditation; it is also a Pearson Edexcel partner and licensed by the UK Ministry of Education and the QCDA. Facilities include an ultra-modern STEAM Centre with MIT collaboration, 3D printers and robotics; well-stocked libraries; three large sports halls, football pitches, a 25-metre pool; two theatres; and specialist classrooms. The Global Campus platform connects BST students with Nord Anglia schools worldwide, fostering ongoing collaboration.
