English is taught through the Cambridge English Program alongside the Vietnamese national curriculum. The Cambridge English offerings include Flyers (A2 / IELTS 3.0–4.0) for Grades 6–9, KET/PET/IELTS Foundation (B1 / IELTS 4.0–5.0) for Grades 10–12, and IELTS or TOEFL ITP (B2 / IELTS 6.5) for Upper Secondary. Vietnamese instruction is delivered under the National Education Program across Kindergarten to Upper Secondary, with a school level spanning 18 months to 5 years in Kindergarten and Grades 1–12 in the rest of the program.
The Vietnam America Schools Can Tho campus offers a Bilingual Education Program. The program combines the Vietnamese National Education Program with the Cambridge English Program. It serves Early Childhood through Upper Secondary, with an Early Childhood Education Program for ages 18 months to 5 years, and Grade 1 through Grade 12. Cambridge English language components are integrated into the curriculum, including Flyers (A2 / IELTS 3.0–4.0) for Grades 6–9, KET/PET/IELTS Foundation (B1 / IELTS 4.0–5.0) for Grades 10–12, and IELTS or TOEFL ITP (B2 / IELTS 6.5) for Upper Secondary.
