The Wellspring Educational System was established more than 15 years ago, progressively becoming a pioneer in bilingual education within Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. To meet the growing educational needs of the community, the system expanded to create a new campus, Wellspring Saigon South, which is scheduled to officially open for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The wider Wellspring school community is comprised of over 45,000 "WISers," a collective term that includes students, parents, alumni, and staff across the educational system. The community actively emphasizes a "co-creation" approach, where families and the school collaborate to build a safe, disciplined, and inspiring environment. Community engagement is fundamentally shaped by the school's official membership in the UNESCO "Happy Schools" network, which prioritizes positive emotional connections and well-being alongside academic achievement.
The school does not publicly disclose detailed information regarding a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA) structure, specific parent groups, or PTA-led events on its website. However, the school places a strong emphasis on the close accompaniment and "co-creation" between parents and the school in fostering student development.
Wellspring Saigon South opens in August 2026 as a pioneering bilingual campus in Ho Chi Minh City. The school implements an American bilingual framework, integrating the Vietnamese national curriculum with US educational standards, ultimately culminating in Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the AP Capstone Diploma. Situated on a 15,000-square-meter campus with four street frontages and river access, the facility reserves 65% of its space for outdoor, green environments. Notable learning areas include specialized biology, chemistry, and physics laboratories, a Maker Space, dance studios, a culinary arts room, and a 16-seater transportation fleet. A distinctive aspect of the school is its official membership in the UNESCO Happy Schools network, prioritizing student well-being and positive emotional growth alongside academics. Another unique offering is the strict 1:1 foreign teacher to teaching assistant model for international subjects, ensuring personalized attention within a campus-wide 1:4 staff-to-student ratio.
