The school follows the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum, including Cambridge Secondary 1, Cambridge IGCSE, and Cambridge AS/A Level. Gateway High School is a biblically based Christian secondary school in Zimbabwe offering Cambridge-based education from early secondary through Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS and A Levels. ACE graduation certificates are conferred by a UK-based governing body, aligning the ACE framework with Cambridge qualifications. Established in 1991, the school grew from modest Form 1 classes to a campus, introducing the Career Preparation Programme (1996), the ACE pathway (2002), and the Takuranashe Class (2010), with a counselling service since 1996 and a Career Fair since 2012. The campus includes Art and Computing rooms, a science block, a library, and a Hall.
