The school has a broad spectrum of clubs that promote academic and intellectual development, including Debates (Junior and Senior), Model United Nations, Public Speaking, and Chess. It also has Maths Club, Science Fair, Economics Society, and Business Club, alongside Computer Club and Electronics Club and Robotics, with CAD Lab sessions. Educentre is available Mon-Fri by appointment. The College has over sixty clubs in total.
Music and performing arts are well represented with Jazz Band (Senior and Junior), Wind Band, Senior Choir, Junior Choir, Chapel Choir, and Shona Choir, plus String Ensemble and Guitar Club. Dance is offered, and Speech/Drama includes Junior and Senior Debates, Drama/Backstage, and theatre-related activities. Visual arts and media are supported by Art Club and Art & Media, with Writers Society also active.
Languages include Chinese Club and French Club. The College also features a Cultural Society to celebrate and study diverse cultures.
A wide range of sports is offered, including Archery, Golf, Martial Arts, Strength and Conditioning, Body and Soul, Swimming, Squash, and Table Tennis. Additional activities include Dance, Interact, Scouts, Tree Society, and Writers Society, as well as Public Speaking and Toastmasters.
Service clubs include First Aid, AIDS Awareness Lifeline, AIDS Awareness ML, and AIDS Awareness JL, and Interact; Crusaders and Community Solutions are active as service groups, with Student Council functioning as a leadership forum.
Student Council serves as a leadership platform. Toastmasters and Public Speaking develop communication and presentation skills, while Model United Nations and Debates foster diplomacy and governance; Business Club and Economics Society offer early exposure to professional topics.
The College offers more than fifteen sporting disciplines each season, including Athletics, Water Polo, Rugby, and Volleyball; a Boat Club operates from Mazowe Dam and Golfers use Royal Harare nearby. The school's activity program supports well-being through sports and culture, with over sixty clubs contributing to student life.
St George's College Harare is a private Catholic Jesuit high school in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Cambridge pathway guides Form 1–4, with IGCSE at the end of Form 4; the Sixth Form offers Cambridge AS and A Levels with over 20 subjects. The campus spans forty hectares beside National Botanical Gardens and provides facilities for academic and student life. The Fr Michael Ross SJ Science Centre has eleven laboratories and opened in 2018, and the Strength and Conditioning Centre is a purpose-built facility to support student-athletes. A Multi-Purpose Sports Facility is in development. The school offers 16 IGCSE subjects and 13 A-Level subjects. Educentre Learning Support opened in 2020, Design and Technology laboratories were refurbished, and the Loyola Music Centre hosts the Music Department. Cambridge Professional Development Centre on campus supports staff development. There are sixty clubs and a broad sport programme, with boarding for around 120 male boarders each year.
