The Heritage School operates an academic curriculum based on the British National Curriculum adapted for Zimbabwe. Pupils study Key Stage 4 leading to IGCSE and ZIMSEC (Zimbabwe National Examinations). Entry to Sixth Form may be subject to success in external examinations such as IGCSE or similar qualifications, with most students continuing with their courses or concentrating on remaining subjects as appropriate. The school uses two systems to provide courses that suit the individual needs of each pupil.
The Heritage School offers a dynamic range of co-curricular activities, including music. The Junior Choir (African Gospel) has earned Honours – Exceptional at the NIAA Vocal and Instrumental Festival 2026 and won the Ethnic Junior Choirs Cup. The Heritage School is set on Borrowdale Brooke parkland in Harare and offers boarding and day schooling. The Acacia House boarding facility provides on-site accommodation. The campus features twenty-first century facilities and aims to provide a high-quality learning environment.
Heritage School Zimbabwe is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school in Borrowdale Brooke, Harare, serving pupils from ages 1 to 18. The campus comprises four departments—Hericreche, Infants, Juniors and Seniors—with Acacia House providing boarding and a Dining Hall. The curriculum blends the British National Curriculum with Zimbabwean requirements, delivering Cambridge Primary Checkpoint at Year 6 and IGCSE in Years 9–10, followed by AS/A‑level routes in the Sixth Form, including a compulsory global perspective course. Core Senior subjects include English, Mathematics, Sciences, Geography, History, ICT, Art and Design, Music and Languages (English, French, Shona). Facilities include four Science Laboratories, a Food Science Suite, two Art Rooms, a Music Room, a Library with a Research Laboratory, Apollo Hall and ICT resources. The 45-acre parkland supports sports such as indoor cricket, hockey and tennis, plus weekend trips. The school emphasizes leadership and service, with many Sixth Form students progressing to universities worldwide.
