The school has 45-acre parkland at Borrowdale Brooke. It has twenty-first-century facilities and serves over one thousand pupils aged 1 to 18. The school has Hericreche, Infants, Juniors and Seniors as its four departments. Boarding is provided at Acacia House with access to the full school facilities. Meals are served in the Boarding House Dining Hall, and snacks are available at the Pavilion Coffee Shop.
The school has an indoor cricket pitch and nets, a basketball court, tennis courts and a swimming pool. The 45-acre parkland grounds support outdoor sport and recreation. The Pavilion is used for sports and is shared with other departments. Weekend opportunities include borrowing Borrowdale Brooke golf course and trips to cinema or on adventure weekends.
The Senior Department has four Science Laboratories, a Food Science Suite, two Art Rooms (one for Seniors and one for Juniors), a well‑equipped Information and Communication Technology Laboratory and a Music Room. The Library is complemented by a Research Laboratory with internet access, open to Form Four and Sixth Form students. Apollo Hall is used for assemblies, public examinations and social gatherings. The curriculum is developed from the British National Curriculum and adapted for Zimbabwe.
Indoor Cricket, Indoor Soccer, Indoor Hockey and Table Tennis are available as recreation for boarders and day students. Outdoor activities are available for day students. Weekend opportunities may include shopping trips, adventure trips, golf and cinema trips. The school supports a broad range of on‑site extracurricular activities through its facilities.
Heritage School Zimbabwe is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school in Borrowdale Brooke, Harare, serving pupils from ages 1 to 18.
