Billing schedule and payment terms
- The annual tuition is billed in three instalments split 40% / 30% / 30%.
- Invoicing dates (billing): 01 October 2025, 08 December 2025, 09 March 2026. Payment due dates are specified in the financial regulations (examples given: 1st due in October, subsequent due dates in January and March 2026). Parents must make payments within the timeframes indicated on invoices. Late or unpaid invoices may result in restricted access to classes after reminders.
- For new students, registration fees and any required deposit must be paid within 15 days of the management decision or the application will be cancelled. For returning students, the BHD 250 re‑registration amount must be paid by the stated re‑enrolment deadline and will be deducted from the first term invoice.
- For arrivals during the school year, the rule “any month started is due” applies to tuition billing. For departures, an incompressible period of three months is due from the date of enrolment; after that the calculation is prorated monthly (n/10). Departures after April 30, 2026 are not eligible for reimbursement.
Boarding
- Boarding is not applicable; the Lycée Français MLF de Bahrein operates as a day school. There are no boarding fees listed in the school financial regulations.
Other costs and recurring charges
- Exam fees are not included in tuition and will be invoiced separately for grades 9, 11 and 12 (invoices issued according to the calendar for those exams).
- Extra‑curricular / after‑school activities and garderie: Billing example given at BHD 5 per pupil per session (subject to VAT); parents arriving late after class will be charged BHD 5 per session. Rates may be adjusted according to the activity offered. Homework‑help fees are invoiced in three instalments of BHD 45 each. Enrollment in extracurricular activities is a firm commitment and generally non‑refundable.
- Transport: School transport is provided by an external company (Praxis Transporting Company W.L.L) and is charged separately; registration for transport is by separate arrangement.
- Canteen: Canteen services are managed and billed via the designated application/provider and are charged separately. Preordering is available and recommended for convenience.
- Uniform: Wearing the school uniform is mandatory from TPS through Terminale. Uniforms are sold at the specified local supplier (House of Uniforms, Shop No. 41, New Tala Plaza, Segaya, Manama). Uniform costs are paid directly to the supplier and are not included in tuition.
- School books and supplies: Textbooks are supplied at the start of the year and must be returned at year end. Families will be charged for loss or significant damage to books. Some supplies (class binders, notebooks) are provided by the school; additional small fees for subscriptions or service charges appear separately on invoices.
Discounts and concessions
- A 5% discount on tuition fees applies exclusively to the third child and any subsequent children from the same family when fees are paid by the family (not when fees are covered by an employer, government, or international allowance). The legal representative remains liable for all invoiced amounts.
Refund and cancellation rules
- The BHD 250 re‑registration payment is non‑refundable except where the family leaves Bahrain for professional reasons upon presentation of proof. Enrolment implies acceptance of these financial rules.
