Located in Toronto, The Bishop Strachan School is a private all‑girls day and boarding school serving students aged 5 to 18. The curriculum follows the Ontario framework with Advanced Placement options, including AP credits and AP Capstone Diploma for senior years. The Junior School extends the Ontario curriculum with a Reggio Emilia‑inspired, hands‑on approach that integrates language, mathematics, science, social studies, design technology, engineering, design thinking and research. Specialist instruction in French, music and physical education complements core learning, with access to the Junior School Learning Commons and a Design Technology Lab. From Grades 9 to 12, students complete more than 100 credits, choose electives in business and visual/media arts, and receive university counselling; 100% of graduates gain placement at top universities. UNISUS in Summerland, British Columbia, is a Pre-K–12 co-educational IB World School offering day and boarding. The school delivers the IB Diploma Programme (grades 11–12) alongside the British Columbia Dogwood Diploma through a Dual Pathways Program. An Academics+ approach weaves Scholar-Athlete Academies and enrichment into the school day. The 17-acre, gated campus includes on-site boarding, air quality monitoring, and dining prepared on site. The four Scholar-Athlete academies—Hockey, Snowsports, Motorsports, and Soccer—connect athletic development with academics, supported by individualized training plans. English Language Learning supports non-native speakers; Spanish is the core second language, with French or Mandarin in grades 11–12 via Pamoja (extra cost); a bilingual IB Diploma is possible through self-study of a first language. The Toronto French School (Canada's International School) is a two-campus, bilingual school delivering France and Ontario curricula within the International Baccalaureate framework. Serving students from age two to 18, TFS offers the Primary Years Program, Middle Years Program and Diploma Program, with a bilingual IB Diploma option. French curriculum has been recognized by the French Ministry of Education since 1984 and is taught from Jardin d'éveil through Grade 9. The school leads to the Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB) and the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), including the Advanced Bilingual IB Diploma. Brevet examinations are offered; in 2024, 97 students participated with a 100% pass rate. TFS operates on two campuses: Toronto Campus at 306 Lawrence Avenue East and Mississauga's West Campus. Enrolling about 1,500 students. Facilities include a 350-seat auditorium, a green lab, a maker space, a design lab, a music studio and a multimedia room, plus sport facilities.
Collège International Marie de France (CIMF) is a private school located in Montréal at 4635 Queen Mary. It is affiliated with the AEFE network and delivers the French national curriculum alongside the Québec model, preparing students for two French diplomas: the Diplôme National du Brevet (end of 3e) and the Baccalauréat Français (1ère and Terminale). Eight Baccalauréat specialties are offered, and progression supports two streams with options across humanities, sciences, languages, and economics. The school operates from Maternelle through Lycée, with English study beginning in early years and additional languages introduced from CM2. Ashbury College is an independent day and boarding school for Grades 3–12, on a 13‑acre campus in Ottawa, Ontario. It offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB DP) and an Ashbury program alongside the curriculum. The Ontario Secondary School Diploma is awarded with 30 course credits, 40 hours of community service, and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test; the Ashbury Diploma adds required courses in French or another international language, physical education, arts, and world social studies, plus 60 hours of community service and nine terms of co‑curricular activities. A bilingual Ashbury Diploma is available with seven French credits. The school offers the IB Diploma or bilingual IB Diploma. Founded in 1891, Ashbury moved to Rockcliffe Park in 1910 and has expanded with facilities including Molson Library & Resource Centre, Centre for Science & Innovation with six labs, theatres, gym, and three boarding houses: Heather Gillin Residence, Matthews House, Maple Residence.
Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School is an independent co-educational K–12 day school in Canada offering an IB continuum from the Primary Years Programme to the Diploma Programme. The PYP operates Kindergarten to Grade 6 within the Alberta Education framework to foster global perspectives. The MYP (Grades 7–10) covers eight subject areas and requires study in at least two languages, while Grades 11–12 may pursue the IB Diploma Programme or the IB Certificate pathway, including an Extended Essay. Upper Canada College (UCC) is a day school for boys in Toronto, Canada, serving students aged 5 to 18. Calgary French and International School (CFIS) is a private, independent day school in Calgary serving ages 1 to 18. The school delivers the IB continuum—PYP (Preschool to Grade 5), MYP (Grade 6 to 10), and DP (Grade 11 to 12)—alongside the Alberta/Canadian curriculum, with full French immersion and Spanish language enrichment. Established over 50 years ago as The Calgary French School, CFIS was Calgary's first French immersion school and has grown into a Round Square and UNESCO Associated School. It delivers the official French curriculum homologated for use in Quebec, supplemented by Quebec courses, and it operates within the AEFE network while being subsidized by the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec. The Québec campus educates about 450 students from three‑year‑old kindergarten to terminale in a green, structured setting, and the Montréal campus (Outremont) serves more than 2,600 students from preschool to terminale. The school emphasizes values such as tolerance, honesty, responsibility, effort, cooperation and initiative, with life governed by rules to promote a safe, productive learning environment. Elmwood School is an independent all-girls school in Ottawa, Ontario, founded in 1915. Serving approximately 385 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, Elmwood is the only school in the Ottawa region to offer all three levels of the International Baccalaureate programme. With an average class size of 15 students, the school combines the IB framework with the Ontario curriculum. The Class of 2024 achieved a 100% university acceptance rate, with CAD 15 million in scholarship offers and 46% pursuing STEM-related programmes.
