History Founded in 1957, Baleares International College, Sant Agustí, has a long-standing presence on Mallorca. There are two Mallorca campuses: Sant Agustí and Sa Porrassa. The schools are British-owned and form part of the Orbital Education group. Sa Porrassa provides education for ages 5 to 18, including Primary and Secondary IGCSE, and Sixth Form. | History Escola Global International School opened in 2008. It is based in Parc Bit innovation park in Palma de Mallorca. In 2013, Escola Global moved from a small finca to the ParcBit location. Admissions Your Journey to Joining Us: The admissions process is the same for Sant Agustí and Sa Porrassa. Step 1: Enquire or Book a visit. Fill in our online enquiry form to register your interest or book a school tour. You can select the school, request a virtual tour, and the admissions team will contact you. Step 2: Visit School. A personal tour of the school to explore classrooms and facilities and meet academic staff. Step 3: Start your Application. Apply via the Admissions Portal. Log in to view progress and submit documents; each child needs their own application. Step 4: Offer and acceptance. After review, a formal offer is sent via the portal; you sign the terms and conditions and pay the Enrolment Fee and Transcript Fee. An entry test or interview may be requested. Admissions are assessed in line with policies for Sant Agustí and Sa Porrassa. | Admissions The school welcomes applications throughout the year for children aged 2–18 (Early Years through Sixth Form), with one class per year group and limited places. The admissions process has five steps: 1. Say hello — contact the admissions team by filling in the enquiry form or by phone or email. 2. Come and visit — you will be shown around the campus and meet a Head of Learning who can answer questions. 3. Formalise your application — provide academic reports from the last two years and any other relevant assessments. From Year 3 onwards, your child completes a short assessment in English and Maths. 4. Scholarships BIC 2021 Scholarship Programme provides 50% of the tuition costs for the 2-year A Level programme funded by Orbital Education. Available to current Baleares International College students and new entrants starting A Level studies in September 2021. Scholarships awarded on achievement and potential. Example requirements include GCSE/IGCSE grades of B (or 6) and above in English, Mathematics and at least four other subjects; or GCSE/IGCSE grades of A/A* (7-9) in the subjects chosen for A Level study.
