History Dar Al Marefa opened in September 2008 as Dubai's bilingual English-Arabic IB continuum school, an educational initiative by Al Ghurair. It offers the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) in English and Arabic. The school celebrated its first graduating cohort in 2016, marking its growth into a complete IB-through school. In 2019 the school moved to a purpose-built campus in Khawaneej, Dubai, designed with architecture by RCR Arquitectes and equipped to support up to 2000 students across the three IB programmes.
