Curriculum details
Curriculum details
The taught curriculum broadly follows and at times goes beyond the Spanish and English Curriculums for KS1–KS5. It is formally assessed at KS4 by IGCSEs and at KS5 by (I)A levels, with exam boards detailed in Curriculum Guides. GL summative assessments in English and Mathematics are taken at the end of years 2–9. CAT4 assessments are taken in Years 4, 7, 10 and 12, and may be used for new entrants. Time for each subject is explained at the start of the year in parents' meetings and shown on timetables. The curriculum includes the Spanish compulsory elements as required by the Spanish Ministry of Education and local authorities, and promotes British values, lifelong learning, independent thinking, resilience and self-confidence across school life.
Curriculum details
British curriculum with English immersion forms the core of the school's education for ages 1-18. English Immersion combines the British curriculum with Spanish core subjects and additional languages such as German and Valencian, with programmes adapted to each stage. Early Years (1-5) offers bilingual education in English in an international environment with trained teachers and a focus on play and exploration. Primary (5-11) provides bilingual education with professional bilingual teachers in an international setting. Secondary (11-16) enables attainment of Spanish ESO and Baccalaureate standards (homologation) alongside British IGCSE qualifications. Baccalaureate (16-18) is authorised to offer the IB Diploma, and the school is an IB World School.

Admissions
The school has a seven-step admissions process designed to be straightforward. First, contact the Admissions Officer for an initial discussion, check availability, and learn what the school can offer your family. Then visit ELIS Murcia through Open Days or a private tour; virtual open events and online tours are also available. Next, apply for a place by notifying the Admissions Officer. Depending on your child's age, there is either an informal assessment or a Taster Day to assess English level, followed by an interview with the Headteacher. If successful and subject to availability, the school makes a time-limited formal offer of a place. After you accept, complete the School Admissions Booklet, submit the required documents, and pay the enrolment fee to secure admission. Welcome to ELIS Murcia: you and your child will feel part of the ELIS Murcia Community.
Admissions
Fill out the admission form to request information. Experience our educational approach and meet our dedicated teaching staff. A personal interview is conducted. The registration process is completed. Enrollment is year-round, but early application is recommended to guarantee a place.
