Mandatory annual and one‑off charges
- Resource/annual fee (covers: exam materials, laboratory use, e-learning and online subscriptions, ID card, school diary & calendar, technology charges) — charged once a year by grade: - Grade 5: AED 1,000. Grade 6: AED 1,050. Grade 7: AED 1,100. Grade 8: AED 1,150. Grade 9: AED 1,200. Grade 10: AED 1,200. Grade 11: AED 1,250. Grade 12: AED 1,250. - Facility fee (one-off, non-refundable) for students newly enrolling at the Oud Metha campus: AED 2,100 (applies to new admissions only). - Board examination charges: charged by the examination board itself where applicable (separately billed). - Additional subject or laboratory charges may apply for some courses or practical subjects; these appear as separate line items in the school's published supplies/optional services schedule.
Other costs and optional services
- Required education supplies, uniforms, textbooks, transport (school bus), canteen/meal plans and optional extracurricular services are charged separately and appear under the school's optional services / supplies schedule. Transport is provided as a paid service (school bus) and the school publishes separate transport arrangements and charges for families who opt in.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is stated as an annual amount (10‑month academic year) and is collected according to the school billing schedule aligned with the three-term academic calendar. Receivables are processed through the school's billing cycle and must be paid by the published due dates for each term or instalment. - Receipts are issued only after the school verifies payment; allow up to three working days for official receipts to be issued after a bank deposit, transfer or online payment (longer during peak periods). The school requires parents to provide transaction details (name, GR number, date, amount) when using bank deposit or transfer so the payment can be allocated and a receipt issued.
Payment methods and bank details
- Online payment: via the campus parent portal (online payments processed through the school portal). - Bank transfer: separate Bank of Baroda accounts are used for the Oud Metha / Al Garhoud campuses and for the DSO campus. Examples of published account details (for bank transfer) include Bank Name: Bank of Baroda; IBAN and Swift details are provided to parents for the relevant campus account. Parents are required to email proof of transfer when necessary to ensure timely reconciliation. - Standing instruction / credit card: the school accepts payments via standing instructions on bank-issued credit cards where supported; parents should ensure their bank includes student details so the payment can be matched to the account.
Refunds and non‑refundables
- Application, enrollment and re-enrollment charges are non-refundable as published: application fee AED 500 (new students) is not refundable; enrollment fee (up to 10% of tuition) and re-enrollment fee (up to 5% or AED 500) are non-refundable and are credited against the first term tuition where applicable. - Refund or proration of tuition and any other refundable balances on withdrawal are handled in line with KHDA guidelines and the school's admission & withdrawal policy; the Fee Department determines amounts payable or refundable when a student withdraws and Transfer/School Leaving Certificates are issued only after school dues are cleared.
Boarding / residential provision
- The Indian High School campuses operate as day schools with transport services; there is no published boarding/hostel provision or boarding fees. Transport (school bus) is provided as a separate paid service.
Important notes for parents
- All amounts above are published in UAE dirhams (AED). Annual tuition figures are expressed for a 10-month academic year; the school's published billing calendar follows the three-term academic structure. - Enrollment and payment deadlines must be met to secure places and to avoid the risk of a student being treated as a new admission; school employees may be eligible for staff discounts where applicable.
Fee details
Application / registration fees - No separate non‑refundable application or registration fee amount is published in the school's publicly available fee documents for the 2025–26 academic year; no fixed application fee figure is shown in the KHDA fee listing or the school's fee materials.
Tuition fees — per term - The KHDA fee listing for the school specifies annual tuition per year group; a separate, per‑term column is not published on the KHDA listing for each grade. The school's internal fee statements show tuition charged and collected in instalments (entries named “1st instalment”, “2nd instalment”, etc.) and by month on individual student statements, which indicates that parents are invoiced by instalment rather than by a single annual invoice. Use the annual figures above to calculate term amounts if required (term splits are not separately published).
Billing schedule and payment terms - Invoicing is handled by instalments: school fee statements record multiple instalments and monthly receivable entries and show instalment totals for parents to pay by the dates on their invoices. The school's fee statements record instalment labels and individual monthly charge lines. - Late/penalty columns appear on fee statements, showing the school records penalties where applicable; no standardized penalty percentage or public schedule is listed in the school's published fee summary.
Boarding fees - New Indian Model School, Al Garhoud (Dubai) operates as a day school; no boarding fees or residential provision are listed for this campus.
Other costs and recurring charges - Mandatory/regular additional charges (examples shown in the KHDA‑derived and school listings): - Activities fee: AED 250. - Laboratory fee: AED 200. - Medical fee: AED 100. - Academic resources / resource fees (range shown): AED 624 – AED 947. - Student ID and diary: AED 50. - Small program/learning charges (example): A‑to‑Z learning program AED 65. - The school's internal fee statements also show regular line items such as laboratory fees, medical fees, activity fees and programme or skills‑development charges posted monthly in students' fee ledgers.
Refund information - Refunds and deductions are handled in line with Dubai's KHDA school‑fees framework; registration/booking deposits are typically non‑refundable except under the limited circumstances defined in that regulatory framework (for example, relocation outside the Emirate under commonly used KHDA rules). Tuition refunds and any pro‑rata calculations follow the KHDA framework and the school's fee policy. Specific refund calculations for a particular case will be applied according to the KHDA framework and the school's published invoices and fee statements.
Fee payment options - The school's fee receipts and student statements show payments recorded as CASH and CARD, demonstrating that cash and card payments are accepted and used for fee collection. - The school's public materials do not publish a full menu of accepted payment channels (for example, explicit bank account details or a published list of accepted corporate/third‑party payment partners are not shown in the fee tables). For parents who require alternative payment channels (bank transfer, cheque or employer payments), the school's accounts office handles the precise arrangements and instructions.
Summary (practical points for parents) - Annual tuition by grade is listed above; use the annual figure for budgeting. - The school invoices in instalments and records payments as cash and card on fee statements. - Additional mandatory items (activities, laboratory, medical, resource charges, ID/diary) are charged in addition to tuition and should be budgeted for. - No boarding fees apply because the campus is a day school.
