Curriculum details
SISKL offers three internationally recognized curricula, providing diverse pathways for students from Kindergarten through Pre-university. The core offerings are centered around the Canadian (Ontario) Curriculum. For Kindergarten and Primary School (Grades 1-5), the program builds foundational knowledge with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and 21st-century skills, covering subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, and Languages (Malay, French, Mandarin). In Middle School (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-11) under the Canadian curriculum, the focus shifts to project-based learning and culminates in the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). As an alternative, students can opt for the Cambridge International Programme, which includes Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary (Years 7-9), and Upper Secondary (Years 10-11) leading to the IGCSE qualifications. For Pre-university, SIS offers the rigorous IBDP for Grades 11 and 12, which is widely accepted for university admission globally.
Curriculum details
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), Sunway Cambridge International Programme, and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) are offered. The Canadian (Ontario) curriculum is licensed and inspected annually by the Ontario Ministry of Education to grant credits leading to the OSSD. The Cambridge Curriculum is offered as part of SISKL, with Cambridge pathways that include Cambridge IGCSE, and students may continue to the IB Diploma Programme or Cambridge A Levels after Cambridge. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is delivered as an IB World School programme. These internationally recognised qualifications enable progression to top-tier universities and professional studies worldwide.

Attend an Open Day or schedule a campus visit. SIS regularly holds Open Days which provide a unique opportunity to gain insight into their programs, engage in interactive lessons, and take a campus tour. If Open Day dates do not align with your schedule, you can request an appointment to meet admissions or academic staff. This is a great way to experience the school's environment firsthand.
Complete and submit the application form. You will need to fill out the application form for your selected campus and submit it along with all required documents. It is important to ensure all information is complete and accurate to avoid delays. Required documents typically include certified true copies of past academic results, birth certificates, and passport-sized photographs.
Undergo a readiness assessment. Depending on the grade level, your child may be required to complete a readiness assessment, interview, and/or observation. These assessments help determine your child's eligibility for the applied grade and vary based on age and previous academic completion. The Admissions Office will schedule this if it applies to your child.
Receive confirmation of admission. If your child meets the admissions requirements and a place is available in the desired grade, the Admissions Office will send a written offer of a place of study. You must formally accept this offer and pay the necessary fees by the deadlines indicated in the offer letter to secure the place.

The IBDP Entrance Scholarship amount varies by academic results, with higher results yielding larger tuition waivers, and is available for new admissions into the Sixth Form / IBDP. A Music & Sports Scholarship provides a 25% tuition waiver for qualified students; eligibility requires excellence in a recognized music or sport discipline and meeting other admission criteria. The Family Bursary offers tiered discounts (5% to 15%) for eligible families, including children of alumni and/or siblings, and applies to tuition fees only.
