Application fees
- No application fee is charged for admission to Grenaa Gymnasium's Pre-IB, IB, STX or HF programmes. Applications for international places and boarding are completed through the school's OpenApply portal.

- There is no tuition fee for any programme at Grenaa Gymnasium; the school is state governed and does not charge tuition.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- The boarding fee is presented both as an annual amount and a monthly amount; the school requires payment to the specified bank account at Danske Bank. Payment details published by the school are:

- The boarding fee is calculated from documented parental income (income year two years prior to enrollment) and families with low income may be eligible for a reduction; parents must upload tax or income documentation in the application system to have a reduced boarding fee calculated. Parents or legal guardians of students under 18 commit to paying the full boarding fee until the end of the quarter in which the student turns 18.
Other costs and fees
- Books: Students borrow books from the school. If books are not returned, the family will be charged the full replacement price.
- Study trip and excursions: There is a mandatory study trip in IB1 that families must pay for. Additional small excursion fees may be charged in Pre-IB, IB1 and IB2.
- Dresscode/uniform: There is no uniform or formal dress code; therefore no uniform fee is charged.
- Items not covered by the boarding fee: The boarding fee covers full board, lodging, internet and use of boarding facilities. It does not cover insurance, personal-hygiene items, laundry costs, or pocket money. Families are responsible for those costs.
Refunds and withdrawal
- The school provides formal withdrawal forms for IB and for the boarding school. The published materials do not include a separate, explicit published refund schedule for returned or prorated boarding fees on early withdrawal; the boarding policy does state the parental payment commitment described above (payment until the end of the quarter in which a student turns 18). Parents should use the school's published withdrawal form to notify the school of departure.

No alternative payment methods (for example, credit-card payments) are published in the boarding fee or admission information. Families should use bank transfer to the account above unless otherwise instructed by school administration.
