Application fees
- There are no application or enrolment fees for places at the International School of Vantaa (grades 1–9).
Tuition fees by school year (grades / terms)
- Grades 1–9: No tuition is charged. School instruction for these grades does not require payment of tuition. School books and other required education materials are provided free of charge. School meals are provided free of charge. Per-term tuition: none for all year groups.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- For regular tuition and core basic-education services (grades 1–9) there is no billing because no tuition is charged.
- For optional charged services provided outside core tuition (see "Other costs" below), fees are normally charged on a recurring monthly basis or as specified in the separate service agreement with the organiser or provider. The after-school (afternoon) club is charged as a monthly customer fee and the selection is confirmed for the whole school year in the service agreement.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not provided and no boarding fees apply. The school is a day comprehensive school (grades 1–9) and does not operate residential/boarding provision.
Other costs or fees (examples and specifics)
- Transport to and from school: Guardians are responsible for arranging and funding pupils' transport to school; transport is not provided free as part of the school's basic education service.
- Morning / after-school (afternoon) club: Where a pupil uses a before- or after-school club, a separate customer fee applies. Example amounts shown for after-school club provision are €100 per month for a place that ends at 16:00 and €130 per month for a place that ends at 17:00; before-school activity fees (where organised) are set separately by the provider. These morning/afternoon club fees are billed as monthly customer fees and are handled through the service agreement with the provider.
- Optional extracurricular activities, trips or services run by third-party providers: Any charges for optional trips, external clubs, private tuition, voluntary excursions or privately run extracurricular activities are charged separately by the organiser and are not included in the school's free basic-education provision.
- Uniforms: No mandatory school uniform fee is listed for the school's basic-education provision; any optional branded items or voluntary dress items would be charged separately if offered by a provider or parent association.
Refund information
- Tuition refunds: Not applicable for core basic education because tuition is not charged.
- Refunds / cancellations for fee-based services (for example after-school club or third-party activities) are governed by the separate service agreement with the activity provider; the decision on granting a place and the terms of the service agreement (including fee obligations and any appeals) apply for the school year as specified in those documents.
Fee payment options
- No payment methods are required for core tuition because no tuition is charged.
- For charged services (after-school clubs, before-school clubs, or third-party activities), payment arrangements are set out in the service agreement with the provider; billing and payment are handled between the guardian and the service provider or the City's billing process as specified in that agreement. Payment method details (invoicing, e-invoice, bank transfer, or other methods) are determined and communicated in the service agreement or invoice.
