Billing schedule and payment terms
- Standard billing runs across four instalments/terms; typical instalment due dates used by the school are:
- 1st instalment — due for April to June; example last date shown: 21 April
- 2nd instalment — due for July to September; example last date shown: 15 July
- 3rd instalment — due for October to December; example last date shown: 15 October
- 4th instalment — due for January to March; example last date shown: 15 January.
- Late payment penalties and consequences:
- Graduated late charges are applied (examples shown: after 7 days = INR 500; after 10 days = INR 1,000; after 20 days = INR 3,000).
- If fees remain unpaid beyond 20 days from the last relevant due date the school may impose an additional charge (example INR 5,000), exclude the student from classes, and place hostel students in local guardian care until dues are cleared.
- Cheques and bank instructions:
- Cheques must be payable to “NAVRACHANA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL” (Grades 1–12) or “Navrachana Education Society - NISV” (Pre‑Primary) and submitted with the fee slip; post‑dated and outstation cheques are not accepted. Deposits may be accepted at branches specified by the school (examples show Union Bank of India). Bank charges are payable by the payer. The school uses online payment options and requests completion of Auto Debit / ECS mandate for fee acceptance where applicable.
Other costs and recurring charges
- PTA subscription, allied‑activity charges, meals and imprest (refundable balance) are included as line items in the schedule above; additional academic charges (exam fees, board examination charges, optional value‑added programmes or external course fees) may be levied separately as required. Uniforms and some incidental charges are required under school policy and are handled separately.
Refund and withdrawal rules
- Imprest balances and specified refundable security deposits are refundable subject to school account settlement procedures. Examples shown in the boarding schedule list the security deposit as refundable (one‑time).
- Notice and withdrawal:
- For day scholars a calendar month's written notice is normally required; for boarders a longer notice period (example: three months) is required. Failure to provide the required notice typically results in fees in lieu for the applicable succeeding period.
- Cancellation before the start of an academic year:
- An administrative deduction example shown is INR 5,000 and the remaining paid amounts are refunded following settlement procedures. Refunds are not generally provided for absence due to sickness, shortened terms, or early release during a term; final refund terms are processed after all outstanding dues are cleared.
Fee payment options
- Accepted payment channels include: online payment (electronic card/RTGS/NEFT options as provided by the school's payment gateway), cheque (as per payee instructions above), bank deposit at specified branches, and Auto Debit / ECS mandate for recurring instalment collection. Bank charges are to be borne by the payer; post‑dated and outstation cheques are not accepted.
