French Curriculum
Collège Melkart is a private Francophone AEFE-accredited school in Louaïzé, Baabda, Lebanon, offering education from kindergarten to terminale. The program integrates Lebanese and French curricula. The Primary program follows the French Ministry of National Education curriculum, while the collège is organized into Cycle 3 (6e) and Cycle 4 (5e, 4e, 3e), focusing on French, mathematics and languages, developing autonomy. The Lycée provides Seconde, Première and Terminale with a common core and pathways, preparing students for national and Lebanese diplomas, including the Grand Oral. The school emphasizes citizenship, personal development, and orientation through Parcours Avenir and eco-initiatives such as ODD, E3D, and Green School. Classes are about 25 pupils with a 1:5 teacher-to-student ratio. Facilities include the CDI, a cantine, and extensive outdoor spaces; sport features prominently. On campus, the VIII Beyrouth Scout Group and Les Genévriers de Melkart outdoor club foster leadership, service and environmental awareness. The school is known for its 100% BAC pass rate.
