Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition and Capital Fund fees are billed across three terms with specific due dates each term; payment or arrangement for payment must be made on or before the published due dates.
- For students who start after a term begins or leave before it ends, term charges are prorated according to the following schedule: two weeks or less = 20% of the term fee; more than two up to four weeks = 40%; more than four up to six weeks = 60%; more than six weeks = 100% of the term fee.
- Every new student pays the higher first-term fee for their first complete term; the pattern also applies to the Capital Fund Fee.
- There is no reduction of school fees for absenteeism (including home leave) unless the student is officially withdrawn.
Discounts and timely-payment reductions
- Timely-payment discounts are available: EUR 180 per term for full-term payments received on or before the term due dates.
- An additional discount of EUR 360 is given when the full annual payment is received on or before 1 October; a combined maximum discount of EUR 900 is possible for students 5 years and older (with conditions described in the fee policy).
- Discounts must be claimed within 30 days of payment. Discounts are reversed for students who withdraw before the end of the school year and who receive a tuition refund.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not provided or listed in the school's fee schedule; the school operates as a day school. Transportation for compulsory-school-age students is handled through the national provision noted in school materials.
Other costs and typical additional charges
- Lunch: A nutritionally balanced lunch program is offered as an optional service at additional cost (provided by an external caterer); parents may alternatively send packed lunches.
- Books and supplies: Textbooks are loaned to students; parents/students are responsible for care of loaned books and for personal supplies (paper, pens, device where required). Many students ages 7+ bring their own device for instruction.
- Extra-curricular activities and some after-school activities may carry additional charges depending on the activity and provider.
- No specific uniform fee or boarding fee is listed in the school information packet.
Refund and withdrawal policy
- If a student withdraws, tuition discounts already applied will be reversed when a tuition refund is issued.
- The partial-term proration schedule (20%/40%/60%/100%) governs charges for mid-term entries and exits.
- In the event of force majeure that causes withdrawal, fees already paid in full for the school year are not refundable and unpaid fees remain due; appeals are handled by the school Advisory Board.
Fee payment options
- The school's fee policy states that payment information will be provided by the school and that payment (or arrangement for payment) must be in place by the due dates; unpaid accounts may result in withholding of student evaluation and official records.
- Historically, QSI schools have required bank transfer to a local school account as the standard payment method; parents should follow the payment instructions supplied with school invoices.
