The government of Malta provides free transportation for all school children. Dacoby, the company that QSI Malta uses, picks up and drops off the children close to their homes each day regardless of where they live on the island. Following school registration, parents will receive the contact information for the Dacoby company to arrange sign up for transportation.

QSI Malta follows a mastery-learning academic program in which learning outcomes must be mastered rather than progressing by time. Time is treated as a resource; students earn credit only when they demonstrate mastery, with mastery grades of A or B, or P while in progress. The curriculum is organized around Exit Outcomes in three categories: Knowledge, Competencies, and Success Orientations; Knowledge covers Mathematics; English / Literature; Cultural Studies; Science; Creative and Applied Arts; Languages Other Than English; and Personal Health and World Environmental Issues. Competencies include Numeracy and Mathematical Skills; Verbal and Written Communication Skills; Thinking and Problem Solving Skills; Decision-Making and Judgment Skills; Commercial Skills; Psychomotor Skills; and Fine Arts Skills. Success Orientations include Responsibility; Trustworthiness; Group Interaction; Aesthetic Appreciation; Kindness / Politeness; Independent Endeavor; and Concern for Others. The Educational Model outlines three foundational beliefs, four levels of outcomes (Exit Outcomes, Program Outcomes, Course Outcomes, Unit Outcomes), unit-based learning typically requiring 12–18 class periods, a status-report system with five reports per year, and three annual parent-teacher conferences; AP Program offers onsite and online AP courses (e.g., AP European History, AP Psychology, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1 & 2, AP French Language, AP Spanish Language, AP Art and Design, AP Music Theory) and includes AP Capstone, a QSI Diploma with Honors, and related pathways.

Counseling at QSI Malta is developmental, comprehensive, and student centered. The program supports student growth in four areas: Academic, Career, Personal and Social, and Global Perspective. The School Counselor works in partnership with students, families, teachers, and the wider community to support academic success, social-emotional well-being, and future readiness. Counseling services are aligned with QSI's Success Orientations and help students develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self. Counseling is provided across all grade levels and includes classroom guidance lessons, individual and small group counseling, collaboration with parents and teachers, and referrals to school or community support services. Career and university counseling is available for secondary students.

QSI Malta has a regional Learning Support Specialist who helps teachers develop academic plans for students who are struggling academically. The process is initiated by the teacher or the parent through the teacher. Before the specialist engages about a specific child, the parent must give written consent.

The Intensive English program is designed for students 6 years old and up whose English skills limit full access to mainstream classroom instruction. The goal is to facilitate an accelerated learning environment in which students are able to acquire English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing to be successful in their age-appropriate mainstream classes. Intensive English classes are smaller than mainstream classes to allow teachers to target individual student needs. The program includes pull-out classes and collaboration with subject-area teachers to support language development.

The Counseling Program supports academic success, social-emotional well-being, and future readiness. It covers four areas: Academic, Career, Personal and Social, and Global Perspective. Counseling is provided across all grade levels and is tailored to students' developmental needs. Services include classroom guidance lessons, individual and small group counseling, collaboration with parents and teachers, and referrals to school or community support services. Career and university counseling is available for secondary students.

QSI Malta provides a safe and nurturing environment; all staff must report suspected incidences of child abuse or neglect when there is reasonable cause, and reporting follows the Child Protection Policy. The school adheres to the CEESA Safeguarding and Child Protection Statement and maintains a Child Protection Policy, Handbook, and Curriculum. CEESA safeguarding standards prioritize prevention and intervention and include regular onsite training and safe recruitment practices. The Code of Conduct requires staff to maintain professional boundaries and ensure safety for students at activities on and off campus. Safeguarding is a top priority for the school community.

1. Eligibility and language: The school admits students ages 3 to 18 who study in English-language classrooms and adhere to the Student Code of Conduct. Pre-school, elementary, and middle school students do not need English proficiency; an Intensive English program is offered free of charge. Secondary students must be proficient enough to access the secondary curriculum. 2. Campus Visit and process: Prospective families can schedule a virtual or in-person campus visit. The administration welcomes questions and aims to make enrollment as smooth as possible. The admissions process includes placement and a Frequently Asked Questions section. 3. Placement and class structure: Preschool and Elementary serve ages 3 through 11, with small class sizes (10–18 in Preschool; 12–20 in Elementary) and two educators per class. Music, Art, Languages Other Than English, Intensive English, Technology, and Physical Education are taught by specialists. Literacy and mathematics are scheduled together for each age level, with movement between levels as needed. 4. Diploma tracks, AP, and accreditation: Secondary consists of three diploma tracks: General Diploma, Academic Diploma, and Academic Diploma with Honors. The school offers AP courses, including the AP Capstone Diploma. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association since 2015. 5. Admissions timelines, support, and logistics: Applications are accepted throughout the year, though space is limited at the start of the school year. The registrar processes applications and informs families of acceptance within a few days when space is available. Learning support is available through a Learning Support Coordinator who collaborates with staff to implement plans.

The school offers a limited number of scholarships each school year for qualifying students selected on merit by the Advisory Board. Information about scholarships is advertised in February and concludes in the Spring.
