Tuition fees by year group (per term and per academic year)
- Grades covered at Nordic International School Ystad: 4–9. There are no tuition charges for any year group; education is provided free of charge under the Swedish school voucher system. Stated another way: tuition = SEK 0 per term and SEK 0 per academic year for all applicable grades.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- There are no recurring tuition invoices for school fees because tuition is not charged.
- Optional or chargeable items (for example, extra school clothing ordered through the school shop, voluntary extracurricular activities or specific trip fees) are handled and billed separately; these items are invoiced or paid at the time of purchase or according to the specific activity's stated terms. The school operates an online shop for additional garments and school-related purchases.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not offered at Nordic International School Ystad; therefore there are no boarding fees. The school is a day primary/comprehensive school for grades 4–9.
Other costs or fees (uniforms, meals, materials, activities, etc.)
- School clothing: From the autumn term 2025 the school provides core school clothing items (a free sweatshirt and a free polo shirt) to all students. Additional garments may be purchased through the school's online shop at parents' expense.
- School meals: Daily school lunch is provided to pupils through the school's catering (Kitchen by Watma). Lunch is part of the school day offering. Any special meal arrangements or exceptional catering items are managed separately.
- After‑school activities and voluntary extras: After‑school activities are offered and may carry separate fees where applicable (for example certain clubs, excursions, or optional services). Fees for these services are charged separately and handled per the activity's invoicing terms.
- School‑supplied learning materials: Standard curriculum teaching is provided as part of the school's educational offering. Any optional materials or specific course-related extras that incur a cost are billed separately when required.
Refund information
- Tuition and application refund: Not applicable (no tuition or application fees are charged).
- Refunds for paid optional items (for example purchases through the online shop or refundable deposits tied to optional services) are governed by the purchase or activity terms and the school's administrative procedures for payments and refunds; the school maintains records of payments and refunds as part of its administrative processes.
Fee payment options
- Payments for optional purchases are processed via the school's online shop or by invoice for chargeable services; the exact payment methods available for each transaction (for example card payment in the shop or invoice bank transfer) are those offered at the time of purchase or specified on the invoice. For any chargeable extracurricular activities or optional purchases, payment instructions and deadlines appear on the specific invoice or purchase page.
