Academia International School Basel offers a continuous, bilingual educational journey on its Basel campus from bilingual kindergarten and primary through lower secondary to an English-language college. The school delivers Cambridge Primary, IGCSE and A Levels alongside a Swiss curriculum, preparing students aged 12 to 18 for university study in Switzerland or worldwide. Kindergarten and Primary are naturally bilingual, with English and additional language exposure embedded in daily learning. ELABasel – The Swiss British School Basel is a not-for-profit, two-campus international school serving Kita, Primary and Secondary students from ages 0 to 18. It offers two curriculum pathways: the Cambridge International Curriculum (leading to IGCSE and A-Levels) taught mainly in English, and a bilingual Swiss stream aligned with Lehrplan 21 for direct transfer into the Swiss system. German is taught from Pre-School to Year 7 and French from Year 3, while the Cambridge stream provides an internationally portable qualification. SIS Basel International School Basel is a bilingual day school in Basel, Switzerland for students aged 3 to 18. The school offers a bespoke curriculum that combines the Lehrplan 21 with the British curriculum and SIS-developed content, enabling a 50/50 split of English and German from kindergarten through college. Children learn across six curriculum areas: Personal and Social Development; Language Development; Mathematics; Knowledge and Understanding of the World; Physical Development; and Creative Development, taught through immersion with two language teachers and alternating days. The school operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with integrated before- and after-school care, lunch supervision, and a range of clubs and regular trips. With around 500 students, SIS Basel emphasises bilingual education and international-mindedness, guided by Principal Marcel Brunner since August 2023.
