Billing schedule and payment terms
- Billing periods: Rights of tuition are invoiced in three periods per school year: 1) September–December (invoice in September), 2) January–March (invoice in January), 3) April–June (invoice in April).
- Due dates and enrolment: The first trimester (and the first-inscription fee when applicable) is payable in advance and conditions registration; registration/re-registration is conditional on payment of sums due.
- Late payment and recovery: The school issues reminders and may pursue recovery (including exclusion from lists and legal collection) for unpaid fees; any costs related to contentieux will be charged to the debtor.
- Special rules: Any month begun is due (calculated as one-tenth of the annual fee) including in case of early departure except for major health reasons properly justified. An abatement of 25% applies from the third child of the same family enrolled in an AEFE-managed establishment in Tunisia (subject to conditions).
Payment methods accepted by the school (agent comptable)
- Cheque payable to the Agent Comptable de l'ERT in dinars (subject to Tunisian regulations).
- Bank transfer in Tunisian dinars to UBCI account: 11 00 30 00 18 49 02 27 88 70.
- Bank transfer in euros to the ERT Trésor Public account: IBAN FR76 1007 1449 0000 0010 2071 092 — BIC TRPUFRP1. For euro payments, the TND/EUR counter-value is calculated using the chancery rate in force on the accounting date of receipt.
- If a payment incident occurs, the agent comptable may require certified bank cheque or cash payment at the school's cash desk.
Demi‑pension (school catering) — tariffs and rules
- Per‑trimester prices (same listed structure for École / Collège / Lycée — amounts are per trimester): Trimestre 1: TND 937 — Trimestre 2: TND 752 — Trimestre 3: TND 535.
- Registration and payment: Demi‑pension is taken for the full year and is invoiced by trimester in advance; the first trimester is due at registration. Use of the canteen in trimesters 2 and 3 is conditional on prior payment of the previous trimester's sums.
- Refunds/adjustments: A temporary absence of more than 30 consecutive days (outside school holidays) for medical reasons can lead to a prorated refund or adjustment on presentation of a written request and decision of the ordonnateur. Exclusion from the half‑board does not exempt parents from payment of the full term due.
Examination fees (droits d'examen)
- Examination tariffs are charged in the second trimester for the Diplôme National du Brevet, the épreuves anticipées and the Baccalauréat, and for other concours/tests as issued. The tariff table lists two sets of exam amounts:
- Set A (example amounts): Baccalauréat TND 420 — Épreuves anticipées TND 310 — Diplôme National du Brevet TND 250 — Autres (concours/tests) TND 130.
- Set B (example amounts): Baccalauréat TND 680 — Épreuves anticipées TND 510 — Diplôme National du Brevet TND 390 — Autres TND 130.
- These exam fees are billed in the second trimester and are transferred to the regional examination office as applicable.
Other costs and miscellaneous fees
- Other payable items include fees for examinations, school trips, extracurricular activities and similar ancillary charges; these are invoiced separately as applicable.
- No separate uniform fee is specified in the published tariff and financial regulation documents for 2026/2027. Families remain responsible for textbooks, school supplies and any activity-specific costs unless explicitly covered by the school or a grant.
Refund and exemption rules
- First-inscription fee (DPI): non‑refundable and cannot be split; refund only in case of force majeure exceptions as defined by the school.
- Demi‑pension: prorated remissions may be granted in cases of long-term medical absence (over 30 consecutive days outside holidays) on written request and decision.
- Bourses: For eligible French pupils, AEFE bourses are deducted from tuition; if a bourse decision is later modified on appeal, any overpayment by the family will be refunded or credited to outstanding sums.
- Non-payment: Unpaid fees lead to reminders, potential exclusion from lists, and, if unresolved, legal recovery; related procedural costs are charged to the debtor.
Boarding / internat
- No boarding/internat fees are listed in the 2026/2027 tariff schedule and financial regulation; the published documents cover tuition, demi‑pension (canteen), exam fees, first‑registration fees and other ancillary charges.
