ISDenver operates two campuses in Denver, Colorado. The PreK–G8 Campus is located at 7701 East First Place, Unit C, Denver, CO 80230, in the Lowry neighborhood. The High School Campus is located at 458 Uinta Way, Denver, CO 80230.

ISDenver is an inclusive school offering education to students with a wide range of learning differences. The Student Support Team provides academic support (literacy, mathematics, organizational skills, language development) for Grades 1-8, and a Counseling team covers ECE-G2, G3-G5, and MYP; Health Services are provided by two full-time nurses.

ISDenver uses a Dragon House system with four Houses: Shenlong, Typhon, Zu, Wyvern; House membership begins in lower primary to foster community, leadership, and school spirit.

ISDenver offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum from PreK through high school, integrating a bilingual learning journey. The Primary Years Programme uses English and Spanish, and the Diploma Programme uses English and French. The school uses a progressive bilingual model: 90% language immersion in the early years (preschool through grade 2). From grades 3–5, instruction is a 50/50 mix of English and the chosen language; grades 6–8 follow block schedules with an emphasis on the language of focus. The Chinese language program is integrated in the middle years, and students participate in international trips and a robust array of language offerings alongside English.

Average class size is no more than 20 students.

MAP assessment results (Fall 2025) show Math achievement at the 93rd–99th percentile and Language Usage at the 94th–98th percentile, with Reading percentiles in the 85th–99th range. Overall, ISDenver students outpace the norms for language usage, reading, and math across grade levels.

ISDenver graduates attend universities across the United States. For the Class of 2020, alumni Allie enrolled at Tulane University and Ava enrolled at Chapman University, with graduates heading to universities across the country.

ISDenver develops emotionally intelligent learners. Counseling offers developmentally appropriate programming aligned with CASEL standards. A dedicated SEL Specialist supports students, and counselors address emotions, social skills, and relationships. The school looks at students holistically, guiding social and emotional growth.

ISDenver offers multilingual education with four languages in the community: French, Spanish, Chinese, and English. Language development and targeted language support are available through the Learning Support and Counseling programs. Time spent learning in and through a target language in our ECE program (K1-K3) supports early bilingual development.

Counseling provides developmentally appropriate resources to support social and emotional needs, including identifying emotions, managing anxiety and stress, and crisis intervention. The Health and Wellness Center, with two full-time nurses, supports student health and well-being and staff are First Aid/CPR/AED certified. A holistic wellness approach prioritizes student health, safety, and community well-being.

Safety is ISDenver's top priority. The campus is enclosed with full-time locked buildings and advanced access control. ISDenver conducts routine safety audits with a third-party campus safety firm and shares recommendations with the Board. Safety protocols are evaluated regularly, and drills (fire, tornado, lockdown) are conducted in line with state and local guidance.

1. Inquire and visit. ISDenver accepts rolling admissions and has space available in some programs. Complete the inquiry form to begin the application process and sign up for a campus tour. Tours and open houses help families learn about the bilingual IB model and classroom life.

2. Check eligibility and language tracks. Children applying to K1 must be 3 years old by October 1 of the enrollment year. ISDenver offers Early Childhood Education (K1–K3), Primary, Middle School, and High School with language tracks in French, Spanish, or Chinese; space varies by program and language background. ISDenver welcomes applications to the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) (upon authorization).

3. Submit the application and deadlines. Admissions applications for the following academic year are due January 31. Rolling admissions are available where space permits. Financial Assistance applications for new families are also due January 31 for the following academic year.

4. Receive admissions decisions. Decisions are shared for Middle School at the end of February and for Early Childhood and Primary School in early March. If admitted, families proceed with enrollment steps.

5. Waitlists and enrollment policy. ISDenver does not hold a waitlist from year to year, and you cannot apply multiple years in advance or hold a spot. Tours are part of the application process.

6. Open houses and campus visits. Open houses are conducted for the 2026-27 school year. Contact ISDenver to schedule a tour and/or a shadow day for your child. These visits provide insight into the school's bilingual and IB offerings.

ISDenver offers four distinct high school scholarships for students entering grades 9–10: Founding Scholar Award (full tuition renewable); Global Excellence Scholarship ($5,000–$10,000 annually); International Scholar Award ($7,500 annually); Leadership Scholarship ($3,000–$5,000 annually). Scholarships are renewable annually based on continued academic performance, good citizenship, and active contribution to the ISDenver community. Scholarship applications require the Scholarship Application, transcripts, two academic letters of recommendation, one character letter of recommendation, a portfolio (3–5 examples) submitted to financialassistance@isdenver.org by January 15, 2026, and an interview with the Scholarship Committee. Founding Scholar Award applicants must submit a 400–500 word essay; prompts include describing a global issue, what it means to be a global citizen, legacy for the founding class, or a time you solved a problem creatively.
