Application / Registration fees
- A non‑refundable registration fee is required with each new application: Preschool (PK2–PK4) USD 1,275; Kindergarten USD 1,700; Elementary and Middle School (1st–8th) USD 1,800. Payment of the registration fee is required before an application will be processed and the fee is non‑refundable.

- Kindergarten
- Option A (one payment): USD 12,443.60 (one‑time payment).
- Option B (three payments): Deposit USD 1,700 + 3 payments of USD 3,799.51.
- Option C (ten payments): Deposit USD 1,700 + 10 payments of USD 1,231.54 (August–May monthly).
- Elementary & Middle School (1st to 8th grades)
- Option A (one payment): USD 13,065.78 (one‑time payment).
- Option B (three payments): Deposit USD 1,800 + 3 payments of USD 3,984.49.
- Option C (ten payments): Deposit USD 1,800 + 10 payments of USD 1,291.62 (August–May monthly).
- Sibling discount
- Second child: 10% off tuition (tuition only).
- Three or more children: 15% off tuition for subsequent children (tuition only). (Registration fees, deposits and other charges are excluded from sibling discounts.)
Billing schedule and payment terms
- One‑time (full) payment deadlines are tied to the academic cycle (published one‑payment deadlines: payment due March 1; offer/early‑pay expiration dates listed in the published schedule).
- Three‑payment plan: payments due on August 1, November 1 and February 1.
- Ten‑payment plan: monthly payments due on the 1st of each month from August through May.
- All payment plans require the stated non‑refundable deposit (due by March 31).
- Tuition is a yearly, binding obligation: tuition is due for the full academic year and prepaid tuition will not be reimbursed if a student is withdrawn. Registration fees and deposit payments are non‑refundable.
Other recurring and incidental fees
- Meals: school lunch is offered at USD 6.00 per day (orders placed monthly; payments due on the first of each month when applicable).
- Before/After‑school care: billed monthly; students not enrolled in the care program who are dropped off before 8:00 AM or remain after 4:00 PM may incur charges (USD 12 for unscheduled before/after times for Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary). Aftercare ends at 6:00 PM; late pick‑up penalties apply (USD 5 per minute after 6:00 PM).
- Late payment fee: USD 75 for payments made after the 5th of the month; payments made after the 15th of the month are assessed 15% of the balance. At 30 days past due the account balance may be accelerated and further collection action can follow. Returned check fee: USD 35 (after two returned checks, the school may accept only cash, cashier's check or money order).
- Parental involvement shortfall charge: families are required to complete 20 hours of parental involvement per year; any uncompleted hours by the published deadline are charged at USD 10 per hour.
Uniforms and supplies
- Uniform items: Polo shirts USD 16.00 each; Sweatshirts USD 18.00 each. Regular uniform is required for all students; bottoms must be navy (no jeans). Supply lists are published by grade and some classroom supplies may be charged separately.
One‑off or assessment fees
- Registration fee (one‑time, non‑refundable) as listed above is charged per new application and includes administrative processing. The registration fee covers initial registration (registration, admission testing or related processing) and is not refundable. Other fees such as book or specific program fees may be charged separately as noted on registration forms.
Boarding
- No boarding program is offered; all services and schedules are consistent with a day school (before‑care and after‑care options available).
Refunds and cancellations
- Registration fees and deposits are non‑refundable. Tuition is a full‑year obligation and prepaid tuition will not be reimbursed if a student is withdrawn during the school year. Late and returned‑payment penalties apply as described under billing terms.
Fee payment methods
- The registration packet instructs that registration fees should be paid by check payable to "Lycée Franco‑Américain." Other specific electronic payment or bank‑transfer methods are not detailed in the published registration packet; additional payment channels (if any) are handled through the school administration.
Notes for budgeting
